In the Philippines, the engine of the Condor revs loudly when changing gears. An unmuffled muffler adds to nice but very noisy esp. on the aspirated variants.

this is the first time I've heard of an FE6 engined bus not being molested!😂
in the Philippines buses with FE6 engines are punished! 😂 it's always sitting at 2,500 to Redline, squeezed for all the power it could give
it's pretty fast for a bus with N/A 6 cylinder diesel engine 🤷
it could accelerate faster than buses with an Isuzu Inline 6 turbo diesel engine.

Is the CMF87 and CPB87 5-speed or 6-speed?

These can get a 5-spd or 6-spd box, but mostly are 5-spd.
