Hmmmmm I’d have to try some more Ned rigs fished last couple days trying everything spinners blade baits swim baits and been skunked on all
Try some craws. They have been working well for me and the leech.
@@anglersanchor sounds good I’m on the north branch of the susky and the creek I fish dumps into the river catawissa creek it’s hit or miss
What camera takes such good video?
Using a gopro 9 and iPhone
What part of the Susquehanna was this and nice fish
Main stem.
What size hook on those jigs? Nice fish btw
1/0
Nice one's! I had 44 degrees water temperature, they are starting....... good looking fish. Thanks for sharing.
I like when people comment the water temps because I have no clue, I just know it’s still pretty cold. Yes they are starting to transition into that prespawn stage. Big ones are moving shallow which should be good fishing the next few weeks if it stays on the warmer side. Thank you again for the comment!
Thanks for sharing my friend!
Always! Thank you for the comment.
Gorgeous smallies. What a day, you really wore ‘em out!
Incredible day! Thank you!
is this in PA?
Yes. Central.
@@anglersanchor ok so a bit north of me. im in lancaster county. i thought the river looked a bit too clean lol
Cant wait to get out on the Susquehanna this year just bought a boat. but it needs some work so the next 2-3 weeks ill be working on it and not fishing.
Hopefully it stays running after it’s all said and done. I had a boat for a little but kept having issues so I sold it and got a kayak lol.
@@anglersanchor yeah thats a worry of mine. im doinng all this work to the boat and one of the last things im doing is testing the motor.
great job!
Thank you!
Just ordered some leeches for myself and used your code. I’m down on the river in York County and things heating up here too! Keep up the great content…
Awesome, thank you!
Great day for you. Thanks for sharing. Where exactly in Susquehanna is this? I mean if I want to put in gps?
On fiya! Nice editing.
Thank you!
Keep grinding Vince! Any luck fishing the river down around Columbia or Washington Boro?
Thank you! No I haven’t been down that way.
I know you said you used an 1/8 oz sled jig but what size hook? On Northbranch tackle you can choose the size hook as well. Thanks!
This one is a 2/0, I use the 3/0 for the nikko craw.
Thanks! Nice channel man!
Nice bud. Just got my Nikko order yesterday can't wait to try out the craws, leeches and hellgramites. Is your Vin10 discount still on. Need to grab some colors that were out of stock. Great video.
Awesome, you should have some good catches with those baits. Yes my code is still active Vin10. Thank you again for the comment.
@@anglersanchor hey Vin are yiu throwing that leech on braid or mono. When it gets a little warmer out I'll have to bring my boat and come down. And I'll get yiu out here on the Delaware River too.....
Do you look for anything in particular when you target these smallies. I can only catch them below a dam or spillway for the most part but it looks like you just walk up to a random part of the river and just start fishing
Yes I target areas that go from mud or sand to rock. I target bolders or logs/limbs that are submerged too. A lot of the spots I fish have one or both. I fish areas that have slower current or Eddie’s as well. When I find a new area to fish I feel for what’s on the bottom with my rod/lure and feel for hard structures or “soft” to hard bottom etc. It’s just time by the water with a line in and breaking areas down. Wading helps a lot too in the summer because you can get in the water and make observations too that will help later. I hope this helps.
Great stuff man! What general region of the state are you in? I live in Iowa but curious as to how your air and water temps compare to here this time of year...
I’m in central Pa. So the water temps are still hovering in that 30-40 degree area. Air temps are 40-50 with the nights dropping into the freezing digits still.
@@anglersanchor Pretty similar to Eastern IA. Hopefully I can find the smallies soon!
I’m an angler In ny coming down to the sesquahannah any chance you could tell me the location or any good spots down there
Boy they like that leech!...gotta get me some!...you put me to shame . Was out yesterday and only had 4!
Yea they were loving this leech! They are starting to move!
Is that tackle sold at South side
