Presence is een prachtige organisatie, geweldig wat jullie doen. Wel jammer dat jullie in de aankondiging de term Bible belt gebruiken. Dat heeft een negatieve klank. Maar ik weet dat ook onder de traditionele kerken vele mensen Jezus van harte liefhebben, God net zo loven als jullie, alleen op een andere manier. "Proclaming Jesus in Bible belt" klinkt alsof hun geloof niet echt is. Maar goed, ga door met dit prachtige werk, Jezus verkondigen en groot maken.
Het heeft voor ons een positive klank! Maar misschien wordt dat anders beleefd? We zijn dankbaar dat Nederland een ‘gordel’ van christelijke dorpen heeft. Internationaal wordt dit ook als iets positiefs beleefd. ‘Proclaiming Jesus’ is iets wat we graag doen, waarmee we nooit willen zeggen dat wij de enigen zijn, integendeel, we waren maar met een klein groepje en juist de mensen die er stonden kwamen uit de omgeving - zij aanbaden en loofden de Naam van de Here Jezus 🙏♥️
