Im glad it became a bit popular again last year, it's such a good game and has a good story. It was also the first game to show me rape and other dark stuff but the endings always make me cry and I just want every character in the game to be happy.
While I’m not as big of a fan of DSP as I was before, I do still enjoy their games. My main problem with Wadanohara though is that the pacing is kinda all over place?? The beginning dragged on for too long and the ending went on too fast. That may just be a nitpick on my part however. Regarding the manga, it’s not perfect but it’s not that bad. It even reveals some stuff about some of the villains which the game didn’t cover which I loved. I’m certain you’ll enjoy the next volume when the English translation comes out one of these days. I can’t wait for when you cover the Gray Garden, it’s honestly my favorite game out of the three, especially since no one really talks about them now a days. Mainly due to his request for people not to stream/do lets plays on his games anymore.
I love Wadanohara And The Great Blue Sea so much. I discovered it after finding the manga in a bookstore. It’s taken over my life entirely... (Also where my Samewadda shippers at?) Also yes, the 3rd volume is out now, although this video was made a while ago.
Wow, this game seems REALLY interesting! I think I'll try it out myself! Great video! Edit: So far, I'm really loving it! The characters are interesting and adorable! (especially Dolphi, she's precious and I love her) not to mention I like the setting! The combat is alright, nothing really TOO special, but it is pretty quick as well. Overall, I'm loving it so far! The only reason i'm even doing this is because i miss my friend and i wanna get as much in common with her when she comes back. Have you played a PC game called "Your Turn To Die -Death Game By Majory-"? It's a game revolving around a little over 10 characters involved in a death game. If you haven't, I would recommend it. It has a few horror scenes with a bit of gore, but has a great story, and the characters are memerable (design and personality wise). Or not, if your not interested :P
I haven't heard of it, no lol but looking at the wiki and what other comments said, it does sound VERY similar to Dangan Ronpa which I am a fan of so I'll definitely try to check it out!
@@nanikaalluka4861, same here... it shocked me how easily it ranked above "Danganronpa" due to how in "Danganronpa" games all the characters tend to be wacky or, zany in some way but, in "Your Turn to Die" all the characters feel a little more grounded and, you spend time with all of them so you have a connection with all of them thus making you pick favorites and, making everything feel even worse than "Danganronpa" does since to love a character in that series you often play their "Free Time Event" to understand them or, even feel remotely upset that they died if you hated them.
I mean...I'm not trying to be family friendly but more trying to please the RUclips higher ups and make sure no one gets anxiety attacks from gore xD but thanks I guess lol

I love their games! AND I first got into their games by finding character desgins of Shirogane( my poor son) and Idate. Thus began my journey into the Deep sea aybss of games. A few things I am iffy about. Such as Wadanohara's character in general, I love her and all but I find her to very mary sue-ish. Next is a Deep Sea prisoner game that I feel needs to get more recognition or atleast needs to be more worked on as a game: Ice Scream. The characters are nice with their personalities but they feel so wasted in the game. Idate seems to be the more important being seen in WATGBS, but what about the others? Like Rocma, Yukisada, Peraco, Rock, and the others on Iceberg Isle? (Regarding the too many characters showing up) Lmao I also feel like Deep Sea prisoner is just flexing on how many oc's they have, by having them show up in their games. (This one is a joke)

However it doesnt have an offical english translation yet and it took me quite a while to be able to play it (however I found a link for an unoffical english patch in the comments of the okegom wiki)
New here, and so glad you're covering Wadanohara. So good. I sure am hoping that the rest of the manga gets published. It's completed in Japanese on pixiv, and I really hoping it gets picked up. It's my fave, and I really hope DSP keeps giving us the content. I would kill (not literally) for an anime of Wadanohara! Also, a reboot has come out with a tad more content after boss battles, and more bonus room content that gives big reveals and ties up loose ends. Personal opinion, Wadanohara has the best story out of all Deep-Sea Prisoner's games but, Grey Garden will leave you feeling pleased... I heard they were working on more games but, I haven't heard anything in years which while I understand really sucks. My favorite characters are Fukami because that one ending was... oh, boy... plus, the guy is just so pitiable with how much he cares for Wadanohara and, from the Grey Garden "Flame"(, that's a non-spoiler name for a Grey Garden character who when you see I hope you connect the dots of it, if you don't know the characters yet) and, black bird( also, a non-spoiler title). By the way, Deep-Sea Prisoner's gender is unknown, I don't really care if you call them a "he/him" since I personally find that pronoun falls into the instant-default if you don't know but, I'm just trying to make sure you know that nobody actually knows their gender. (Their wiki says that they want to "make things that are even more extreme" which is shockingly amazing and, terrifying... last in progress game I heard about was their "Wonderland" game, "The End of the Wonderland" and, "Carnival Rhythm" but, both still seem to be in development, "Carnival Rhythm" has a higher rating than Wadanohara with Wadanohara having a R-15 and, "Carnival Rhythm" having a R-18 with the warning "due to serious amounts of gore, including dismemberment and abdominal incisions, among other things"... Not sure. Right now, Deep Sea Prisoner is make 2 games. One about a human girl trying to escape the demon world and another about Moge-Kov from Mogeko Castle.
Their work is not a super remembered one due to the extremely dark themes hidden behind the game's cutesy appearance whereas Ib, Mad Father and The Witch's house all had the horror in your face.

Not sure. Right now, Deep Sea Prisoner is make 2 games. One about a human girl trying to escape the demon world and another about Moge-Kov from Mogeko Castle.

Their work is not a super remembered one due to the extremely dark themes hidden behind the game's cutesy appearance whereas Ib, Mad Father and The Witch's house all had the horror in your face.
