Thank you brother, my phone fell and the screen wouldn't work at all. Repair shop was telling me it would be 135 for some part but I got curious to see what it would look like inside. Turns out the cable was loose on the screen port you mentioned at 1:25. Just pressed that in, restarted my phone and bingo, running like new.

I like that descriptive aproach of your videos! Btw, few days ago I dropped my A52s, but this time it turned off and I thought it's gone for good. But then I got idea that the impact could cause one of the connectors to disconnect, and after opening the phone it appeared to be true! So yeah, phone's still rocking 💪

If you apply the original pre cut adhesive (they usually come pre installed on replacement back plates or battery doors or are sold separately when available), then you should retain the water resistance.

I recently dropped my a52 and there's a small hairline crack on the reflective plastic frame and i want to know if the reflective plastic frame is the part that keeps the phone waterproof or if its just a outer frame that's just used to take impact when dropped( or to look good) and the aluminium midframe is the actually water proofing ?

When prying the battery off, be very, very careful the side near the power ribbon behind the power button is extremely thin - had a narrow escape with a puncture there this evening with a thermal runaway. (by the way, it stinks the house out so when you have thrown the mid chassis, old screen and battery in a bucket of sand or deep bucket of water, open ALL the windows.....and wash your hands with a mild vinegar then soap and water which will neutralise any alkalis that may get on your fingers as you get rid of the battery....)
Apple : Glue Back panel fully to make replacement almost impossible...and put pull tabs to make battery replacement easy...
Samsung : Stick battery fully to make replacement difficult... Don't stick back panel fully to make it replaceable..
Both are Opposite extremes ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Hi, if it's lifted up, it may be a bad/bloated battery pushing it up. So would require you changing the battery.

Does the samsung a52 use a Li-ion battery? In the video I saw the battery labelled as Li-ion but in GSMarena websites it shows that the phone uses Li-po battery :(

Hi you should be fine. the mic sits above or bellow the hole.
The top microphone is used for filtering out the outside noise from your voice in the call.

Hi, you should be fine, usually the filter is at an angle and would not be affected.

The back adhesive of my a52 seems loose since I can just remove it with my fingernail and it sometimes I can just see it being open, even if I had a case
You can order a replacement online and replace the old adhesive if you want.

I got a quick question to ask. I just got a brand new samsung a52s 5g and when i was taking off the plastic seals from the cover screen and the sides,the plastic volume button came out half way the top side, unattached from slot together with that fabric plastic. I brought it to official samsung service repair and the guy said for this model of phone you can just fix/attach the button from the outside and the phone doesnt need to be opened. Is that true? And if its opened will it still be IP waterproof? Have a nice day!
Thanks. Usually the buttons are inserted from internally but it varies from model to model. I'm not 100% sure on this model. However there is a rubber gasket internally which would probably stay intact even if the physical button itself popped out and you pushed it back in. So I wouldn't worry too much about the IP rating.

Thank you. The microphone will be fine it sits above the hole but the filter might have gotten stabbed but should still be fine. The hole would be small if it all there is a hole in the filter.

Hi, you should be fine. The speaker sits above the hole so it would not get damaged. As for the filter, you should be fine with that as well.
@@PBKreviews I have similar problem. I poked top microphone by accident. I see on your video that it has blue seal and angled 90 degrees according to hole. But waterproof membrane is also above hole or directly in front of? Could I broke waterproof membrane or is it fine?

@@jhoncruz2033 most likely the filter wont be damaged but cant guarantee it. The hole would be small even if it were to be punctured so the risk should be small if anything but yep take the chance at your own risk. :)

Yup, but the plastic back is good for drops etc compared to glass but yea the glass feels more premium.

Is it a problem?
ip67 rating means it can go into water as deep as 1 meter for 30 minutes. Keep in mind its water resistant and not water proof meaning its made for accidental situations and not to be used as a underwater photography device for example. So I personally would not every day take the phone with me into the pool just for fun because over time you will lose resistance with the adhesive seal going bad or other issues. Also any damage to the phone such as a crack from a drop or a bend in the phone would probably allow water to get in.

Its under one of the covered shields but its soldered to the main board and is not a user replaceable part.

If there is no sd card in the sim try, then there is no sd card. The onboard storage of the phone is a chip thats soldered to the motherboard. Its not user removable.

It won't be cable related, but probably bent or broken sim reader pin. If the pins are broken, it would require a specialty shop which can do soldering to replace the sim reader from the main board.
Just got my a52 5g in december. my phone had fallen out of my pocket and the screen went black but was responsive. Sent it to Samsung and they fixed it free of charge, because I was within my one year warranty for hardware issues, thankfully

Turns out, your flex cable most probably had a rip as mine does and acts the same.

2 years owning this phone, the back cover starts to peel of from the other side of the camera. the adhesive is just weak on this phone. i would be looking elsewhere since the A54 despite having a glass back cover has the same thin adhesive applied at the back.

hi, you can buy the pre cut adhesive for the phone and replace it or you can replace the entire back cover with a new one that comes with the adhesive pre attached. My A52 dropped into clean water sinking to the base. A rescue mission was accomplished.. haha. And it got fine and was working normally for 2 straight days. On the 3rd day it went of by itself.
Handed it over to a local tech guy and bla bla screen... screen is repleced but then its a green display... what could the other issue be?
Should i forget about the A52 or i should be patient with a display repair?
If the phone gets water inside, its best not to use it and take it apart to dry out the water and brush off any corrosion inside with a small brush or else the phone will short as it did in your case. When it shorts, parts get damaged which would need to be replaced like the screen, motherboard or other parts. If you replaced the screen and it still doesn't work, it could be a bad board which would not be worth replacing, usually not easy to find a replacement nor is the cost worth it.

My screen had stopped working after I had dropped my phone. My cable where it goes to the screen(One that is attached to the screen is shattered. If I buy a new screen will I lose my data? As I can see I have a black chip with numbers on it. It is located in the top left corner (of your video) where the black circle is on the metal bit. I'm not sure exactly which parts you are referring to, but if you replace the screen, no you would not lose you data. Your data is stored on a chip on the main motherboard of the phone. So if you bought a completely new screen assembly for example and moved over your main board and other parts to the new frame with screen, you would still have all your data.
after the disassembly my screen is just flickering and not showing anything. What might have went wrong? Some connectors damaged maybe?

Hi, you don't have to worry, both the mic and the rubber gasket/filter are seated above the hole and would not be damaged.
The temperature sensor on my A52 5G is misreading, saying temp is too cold to charge. Do you think changing the replacing the charger port board will fix this?
Most likely yes, usually either the sub board/charger port board causes that or a wireless charger coil sensor.

From 5 years I got a Samsung a7 and its charging port was broken...
So I took it to a professional tech he changed it and after a week the dead pixels started to appear until all the pixels are dead...
What did that happen and what to do to avoid such a thing..

Was it a Tablet or a Galaxy A7 phone? If it required the screen to be removed on a tablet then there is your problem there since prying a screen off a device poses a risk of the screen cracking or getting damaged.

@@shadowkc-1883 there's no need to disassemble the display to repair the USB port. Maybe the repairman damaged the screen in some way while repairing? Were you present at the time aka standing in front while he repaired your phone?

Bro there is a small hump/swell slightly to the right side of the camera unit. Not visible but can feel something like a bump when rubbed with fingers. Is it normal? There is a slight heating issue near the camera unit when browsing and a slight battery draining issue too!
It's possible during assembly one of the catches didn't click in or one of the screws did not get fastened all the way (very unlikely but possible especially if its a refurb etc.). Wouldn't be able to tell until you actually took it apart, but don't think its worth messing with if its not bothering you too much. Also for the heating up, it should be normal. There are numerous antenna contact points around the motherboard which can also cause heating up when it use while you are browsing. But shouldn't heat up to a point that its burning etc.

I have quite a weird problem with my A52 that lasts almost a year now:
It was totally random, phone just stopped charging one day, I thought something died inside of the phone. I handed it over to local tech service. They said something is wrong with plume and it disconnects (I think?), so I need to put a pressure on antenna, under it is where plume connects to the motherboard. It works and its charging normally no problem, but then cycle repeats, it stops charging and I am putting pressure on antenna to make it chargeable again.
I do wonder - what exactly is goes wrong though, maybe plume is that weak. I would like to check it, but I do not want to disassemble the phone, I have tendency to break my tech (thanks to my curiosity), so I might check it when I'll buy new phone and I won't need my A52 anymore.
Hmm not sure what it could be, might be a bad connector or solder points. Might also just be a bad sub board which you can replace with another sub board.

Hi, I'm not 100% but I think it should be possible since the phones are identical aside from the processor and a few small hardware differences on the motherboard.
Does the back cover feel filmsy as a lot of people been saying about?
It is pretty thin and has more flex to it than most back covers.

Greetings. Usually to find a motherboard you need to find a phone that is being sold for parts or repair. Like a phone with a broken screen that has a good board you can use. They don't usually sell the motherboards unless someone parted out their phone. You would need to check ebay or other sites like that.
after display replacement can we use our phone same as water resistant
You would need to apply new original pre cut adhesive that is made for the phone to retain the water resistance. Usually most replacement battery doors or back plates will come with the adhesive pre installed.

They can have different purpose, like, improving thermal dissipation, shielding from EMI, or helping with signal strength optimization
I got a problem while taking off the screws i only took off 4 but i cant take out the other ones because they are very tight
try using a size bigger screw driver to see if it will help, but be careful not to strip the screws or you would need to use a drill bit to drill into them to break the heads off. The screws shouldn't be too tight.

Should be fine, sometimes there is minor gaps or space between the back plate and the internals so can cause that to happen on some models.
Yes! Mine to at the exact same location. Next to the Kamera module right? It feels like the adhesive isn't properly fixated and it makes a sticky cracking noise when you put pressure on it. Yeah, it's really annoying. I'm thinking of getting it fixed but I'm scared that the repair guy won't properly reposition the back plate.
@@kpoptrendsbtsedition5548 I sent it back and bought a new one. Other than it making a crack noise everytime I pick it up, it didn't affect the phone in any way. It's the adhesive under the thin, flexible plastic back cover. It's not properly applied or something that's all. Still annoying though that's why I suggest you send it back and get a replacement.
@@kpoptrendsbtsedition5548 Yes, I got the same model and it doesn't make any sounds. The one I sent back made very loud cracking noises. If yours makes small cracking noises once in a while (only audible when placing your ear directly onto the back cover) it's probably normal. The back cover from the A52 is very thin and flexible. You'll have to judge that for yourself because I don't know how loud your model cracks.
Hi! I have the a52 and i have noticed that the frame bends a little when I press on it, do you know if this can affect that my phone is still waterproof?
The phone is water resistant not water proof but should be fine. Not sure how bad your phone is bending but yep.

What is the material of the side frame is it plastic like the A51?
Its not a removable back housing like the A51, but the sides are plastic over the aluminum midframe.
Wheres internal storage?
Question if my phone (A52) needs a battery replacement or anything that would need to open it up, will it still have the IP rating? Coz I read a lot of comments and post saying the water resistant glue or gaskets would be removed and the device will lose its IP rating.
Well ain't planning to go swimming with it I juts like to have that piece of mind when accident do happen.

the phone shows me a temperature of (-20) degrees and there is no charging battery, I thought the thermistor was in the battery, I replaced the battery. The replace did not help. When I press the screen near the battery, the temperature changes in plus. when I press the main board and the power board, nothing changes temperature. The fault arose when the phone was lying in the sun for 15 minutes :( . Best regards

Is there a way to manually get the sim card out
would be difficult. You would need to disassemble the phone and since the sim tray is not removed, the motherboard would be able to be removed either. You would need to carefully pull up the motherboard and slide the sim tray out while trying to lift the board to be able to release it. If the sim card is in the sim reader without the sim tray, then after you disassemble and remove the main board you can use a small pin or needle to try n work it out from the openings on the sim reader. But careful either way not to damage the sim reader pins or the sim reader wont read your sims anymore.
What if not touch the screen?

They are the same, only difference is the 5G antenna.
The 5g model has 120hz screen instead of 90hz and snapdragon 750g instead kf 720g
The 5G model and the A52s 5G also loses the proximity sensor.

yes the back plate is held on with adhesive. You can heat it up and pry it off and replace it with a new replacement back battery cover which comes with the adhesive pre installed, so you peal off and apply to the phone. Just make sure to peel off any remaining old adhesive strip from the frame of the phone before you install the new cover. All the same thing, just different wording. Usually for apple, people refer to it as the logic board.

you can use a suction cup tool to help you get leverage between the back plate and frame to get a pry tool in between after you have heated it up.

Hey! I accidentally opened the back cover from the bottom corner while taking off my phone case and now it won't close again :( Is there anything I can do?
Are you referring to the back plate of the phone that covers the internals? It's held down the adhesive so you would need to either just press it back down and hold it for it to re-adhere or remove the old adhesive tape and apply new one or purchase a replacement back plate / battery door cover which would come with the pre installed adhesive tape that you can peel off the protective tape and just apply onto the phone. The company saying its SD 720G processor. But i have Checked by the app called 'CPU Z' on playstore. This is showing SD 732G processor.
Is something wrong with my SG A52? It's 8/128 variant.
Might be different region versions have different processor or if its a52 5g compared to a52. Might also be the software reading it incorrectly.

Dude, my A52 shows moisture detection all the time and I can't get rid of it. It dissapears on it's own If I'm not using phone in landscape mode covering charging port with my hand, because only that triggers this alert. What do you think what is the problem?
Not too sure. No liquid has gotten inside the phone? Have you also tried backing up all your data and doing a factory reset to make sure any bugs or kinks in the software are ruled out?
