I was burned everywhere and expected to die

What's it feel like to survive burns over your entire body?:
John O'Leary was 9-years old when he was playing with fire and caused an explosion in his home. The accident left him with burns on his entire body, except for his face (thanks to the quick actions of his siblings who distinguished the flames).
John describes how dire his situation was when he arrived at the hospital and what his mom said to him so he would fight to live. He also describes the painful healing process and why he still has problems today with his skin. In our interview, John encourages everyone to look at their life as a gift and explains why he would change nothing about his life... even if he could.
