PUNCHIN’ TALK with Derek Hudnall

John Crews and Derek Hudnall talk about what is punchin', why you punch, and the basics of punchin' to catch bass. Punchin' is a form of flipping and pitching but is more like hand to hand combat bass fishing in heavy cover. Derek is in second season on the Bassmaster Elite Series and hails from Louisiana. He has been punchin' all of his fishing life. Crews is from Virginia but has won a BASS Elite Series tournament by using this technique. These guys break it down for all anglers to understand and both rely on the Missile Baits D Bomb for their main punchin' bait.

Crazy as it sounds I have a few small local fisheries with coontail & milfoil here in Ok that I’ll have to punch every summer. CANNOT GET ENOUGH OF IT!!
