@Kevinmathscience i don't want to sound rude. But ur answer is wrong on number 1 question of simultaneous you are not supposed to multiply that y with (y+3) you were supposed to add it and your answers must lead back to the question when you add them
Take top equation, get y or x alone. Lets say we get y alone. y = 5 - x Plug that into second equation: x(5 - x) = 6 Then multiply out and solve. Hope that all helps!

How do you do this one
x+3y=1
x2+y2=10
Use top equation. Get x alone. x = 1 - 3y
Then go to bottom equation and replace x with x- 3y. Remember to use bracket at that part :)
How do you do this equation
2y = 3+x
2xy+7 = x² + 4y²
Take top equation, get x alone:
x = 2y - 3
Plug that into the bottom equation:
2(2y - 3)y + 7 = (2y-3)^2 + 4y^2
And then solve :)

Try to substitute your x and you got to equation 2 and see if you get 0 and again to equation 1 and see if you get 3
