Why on earth did they decide that of all female representatives out there, Kerry Katona was the right choice to enter into debate over this ?. Shes not rational at the best of times, shes making up words, and she sounds like shes on the sauce.
If you want something like this to sound credible then get a credible person to debate it. Coming from Kerry it just sounds like nonsense.

If you want to know why 1 person cant sustain a family.. 1 in 5 people in the uk now were not born here. thats ignoring second and third generation immigrants. The top childs name is mohammad. So the wage pool has been watered down. If 50% of the work force decided not to work (women). The men would get a massive pay rise as companys would be desperate to hire people. House builders back the political parties to ensure high immigration so they can sell more and more houses. Taylor Whimpy work on a 1 in 5 houses being profit. Lots of money to be made destroying the British culture and country. Once ive made enough, I will also leave the UK. Its too late to save it and Labour are only going to sink it further.. If you want to know if our wages are getting supressed by mass immigration. I'm all for business making accommodations for their staff, although its ironic that we have spent the last 10 years being told how sexism is the cause of offices not being warm enough by women, only now to be told that work places should put additional cooling in place for women.

It's not a disability, it's more like a long term case of flu. You don't want it in the office screwing up the workload, and making the employee feeling like shit. So of course you have to adapt to it (where possible) in your employment practice, it's not for asking much.

I will say that air con is not a good solution: air con effects everyone in the office. Should a menopausal woman be able to turn the air con down until she is comfortable even if it means everyone else is freezing? What about people with poor circulation who are colder than everyone else? I knew someone years ago that was able to stand in a thick fur coat in the middle of summer and still feel cold. Should that guy be able to turn the aircon up until he's comfortable and everyone else is fainting from the heat? And what happens if both work in the same office? Air con wars! Sure, if these people have their own offices and the air con for that room alone can be set, then it is not a problem. Otherwise it is an unreasonable request.

That's why the retirement age for women was 60...we need to bring back this option for women...that would stop employers side lining employing women when recruiting the work force...some women are not suitable for hrt....and have extreme menopause symptoms fir the rest of their lives . Some of them have been employed since the age of 16...it should be an option for everyone who are facing major peesonal welfare changes.

Time was, we women simply got on with it and didn't whine, like many (?most) do now. Far from whining, we didn't even mention it in public, because it was deemed to be a rather personal thing; definitely not something to be thrust in the faces of others. Yes, it can be bl**dy awful. Yes, it can be exceedingly uncomfortable, and yes, the whole damned thing is wretchedly horrible and a blasted nuisance, but it passes. It is temporary. Why should co-workers and employers be put through the wringer simply because one or two women are having an unpleasant time of it? What is WRONG with people now? They're so damned self-centred that they believe everything in the world must change to accommodate their own petty discomforts.

So Kerry Katona complains about the sweat dripping down her top, but at the same time says that she doesn't even know whether, at 43 years old, she is going through the menopause. Maybe getting someone on the show who is actually going through the menopause would be more useful. This woman is just 'rent-a-gob' and isn't qualified to comment. Neither is the 25-year old male to be fair however. The show should find better commentators really, and this just reveals lack of effort on the part of the producers.

Women in my experience seem to feel ashamed of the menopause and try to hide it, that's the first thing that needs to change, all women go through it, its not something to be ashamed of and if we can make it less taboo, it can be discussed more openly, from that comes understanding, from there hopefully comes reasonable solutions.

I agree something needs to be done to get through a very difficult period during serious menopause issues , every female symptoms are different, some men are not aware of this to understand at work or at home , men in general need to be well informed on this serious matter , it's pure hell especially when you are juggling with day to day life, this is nothing to do with being rich or poor, it's just hell your personality changes, mood swings plus accompanied with pain.

Why wasn't HRT mentioned when dealing with perimenopause or menopause? Perimenopause or menopause happens when a women has low hormone levels due to age, primarily the sex hormones. Having more access and better availability of HRT for women can resolve that issue, thus maintaining a healthy mind and body, thus preventing things like osteoporosis, anxiety mood swings and every other symptom.
It's already available for women going through perimenopause or menopause, but they need to speak to their doctor about this and it's readily available for transwomen. Instead of making new laws, getting women HRT treatment would be far more optimal.
