i understand a woman having trouble with this problem but i do have a issue with this NHS thing i read a couple of months ago about giving male staff ( biological men ) up to 12 months full paid leave if they believe there going through it men don't have menopause
Time was, we women simply got on with it and didn't whine, like many (?most) do now. Far from whining, we didn't even mention it in public, because it was deemed to be a rather personal thing; definitely not something to be thrust in the faces of others. Yes, it can be bl**dy awful. Yes, it can be exceedingly uncomfortable, and yes, the whole damned thing is wretchedly horrible and a blasted nuisance, but it passes. It is temporary. Why should co-workers and employers be put through the wringer simply because one or two women are having an unpleasant time of it? What is WRONG with people now? They're so damned self-centred that they believe everything in the world must change to accommodate their own petty discomforts.
So Kerry Katona complains about the sweat dripping down her top, but at the same time says that she doesn't even know whether, at 43 years old, she is going through the menopause. Maybe getting someone on the show who is actually going through the menopause would be more useful. This woman is just 'rent-a-gob' and isn't qualified to comment. Neither is the 25-year old male to be fair however. The show should find better commentators really, and this just reveals lack of effort on the part of the producers.
Women in my experience seem to feel ashamed of the menopause and try to hide it, that's the first thing that needs to change, all women go through it, its not something to be ashamed of and if we can make it less taboo, it can be discussed more openly, from that comes understanding, from there hopefully comes reasonable solutions.
Kerry went on that show knowing what she was going to say to Connor; she treated him like a prop for this debate and couldn’t have been more disrespectful.

I was fifty two years old when I had the menopause infact it was only two years before I had a blood test said I was ovulating, pissed of wasn't the word. When it happened I felt free. It's a short spell before your free, still admired but free. Ask my husband was I angry ,no different still hard work. Nature. ❤
I agree something needs to be done to get through a very difficult period during serious menopause issues , every female symptoms are different, some men are not aware of this to understand at work or at home , men in general need to be well informed on this serious matter , it's pure hell especially when you are juggling with day to day life, this is nothing to do with being rich or poor, it's just hell your personality changes, mood swings plus accompanied with pain.
When a subject comes up about womens issues PLEASE don’t go on a program like this if you are male because you will be shouted down for being a Misogynist let the women talk about women and men talk about men
Why wasn't HRT mentioned when dealing with perimenopause or menopause? Perimenopause or menopause happens when a women has low hormone levels due to age, primarily the sex hormones. Having more access and better availability of HRT for women can resolve that issue, thus maintaining a healthy mind and body, thus preventing things like osteoporosis, anxiety mood swings and every other symptom. It's already available for women going through perimenopause or menopause, but they need to speak to their doctor about this and it's readily available for transwomen. Instead of making new laws, getting women HRT treatment would be far more optimal.

But I was told men and were exactly the same !
Her voice I just can’t
"I'm 43 and it's embarrassing..." That should have been her entire comment. Calm down luv, stop being so emotional 😂
They're so damned self-centred that they believe everything in the world must change to accommodate their own petty discomforts.
no mention of men going through it
Why is she so loud!
She's drunk obviously
Life is tough, huh Kerry?
Be thankful you aint working a 9-5 in an office.
Is this woman drunk?
The sun has been up for hours, of course she's drunk.
She's on strong medication for bipolar disorder.
Women in my experience seem to feel ashamed of the menopause and try to hide it, that's the first thing that needs to change, all women go through it, its not something to be ashamed of and if we can make it less taboo, it can be discussed more openly, from that comes understanding, from there hopefully comes reasonable solutions.
.... nobody is ashamed...it's just a personal private physiological matter. Not all bodily phenomena are. Publicly discussed by male or female
Disabilitating?hic
@danceswithbadgers 👈 Brilliant name👍 😁
Kerry went on that show knowing what she was going to say to Connor; she treated him like a prop for this debate and couldn’t have been more disrespectful.
Bless Kerry with her "disabilitating". Debilitating. Luckily my hot flushes were so fleeting that I didnt suffer too badly & just went to the Ladies & stood by the open window for 5mins. No mood swings either. My Mom didnt suffer much either but got v forgetful: I found broad beans in the washing machine etc.
Look forward to the 'Loose Women ' panel discussing this at length.
'Loose' in every sense.
Why would anybody bother becoming an employer these days?
Talk about andropause in men please...
Why are you women working and not at home raising your family and cleaning the house?
will stupidity be a disability soon
Lmao next they be asking for a Blue Badge and a care allowance to Go with their disability
So do men get the same consideration? Or are we just going with only women have a menopause?
So her caves drying up why do we need to kno this
I was fifty two years old when I had the menopause infact it was only two years before I had a blood test said I was ovulating, pissed of wasn't the word. When it happened I felt free. It's a short spell before your free, still admired but free. Ask my husband was I angry ,no different still hard work. Nature. ❤
So after all these years it’s now a problem the world is so soft
I agree something needs to be done to get through a very difficult period during serious menopause issues , every female symptoms are different, some men are not aware of this to understand at work or at home , men in general need to be well informed on this serious matter , it's pure hell especially when you are juggling with day to day life, this is nothing to do with being rich or poor, it's just hell your personality changes, mood swings plus accompanied with pain.
When a subject comes up about womens issues PLEASE don’t go on a program like this if you are male because you will be shouted down for being a Misogynist let the women talk about women and men talk about men
How ridiculous
Take personal responsibility
"disabilitating" ? I stopped there.
Got a drunk regard on to do what exactly lol what a mess
When did people start listening to Kerry Katona
Clickbait again, and ditch the apologist male. She didn’t shut anybody down just got a bit louder, as usual.
Perfect excuse to get them to work from home. No one needs an emotional mess in a work environment. They are like being around a 3 year old.
Just get on with it people,,,
Yet another excuse to highlight a non issue rather than deal with the real problems. Disgusting. Enough already with this nonsense.
It’s about time!
They should start with recognising that female employees who work in the NHS suffer from this too.
