I'm a proponent for board repair, too many times we have to replace the entire PCB and it's expensive, not to mention if it's a rebuilt or a re-scraped board it may be bad.!!
I started 40 yrs ago when everything was repaired down to component level.
That's the way it should be now, replace the components not the entire board.
