Apparently the composer is from Konami, in house. I gotta find their name and see what else they did because holy hell, it makes the waiting for your opponent to move just a bit more bearable.

Each song played for duels has multiple variations. It starts out comparatively chill, then goes harder when something vaguely menacing get summoned, then gets even more epic when someone gets low on life or is staring down a massive board.
It goes like this:
1.- Normal theme when Duel starts.
2.- Keycard theme, when a monster with a cut-in gets summoned, and:
3.- Climax theme, which triggers when
a) Either player's LP drops to 3,000 or lower.
b) The turn player goes into the Battle phase and the combined ATK of their monsters is equal or higher to your LP.

DL music will never get old, but yeah, MD music is epic! The last part kinda sounds like the stick war legacy theme (i dont play it, but when my brother does, you can hear it from across the room)
Duel Links is like, bouncy energetic good-feeling music, like we're all gonna have a good time.
Master Duel is like EVERY DUEL IS FOR THE FATE OF THE UNIVERSE.

Best experience i had with this was me facing a Utopic arms deck with my Red Dragon Archfiend deck. It was as back and forth as a yugioh main protagonist duel could get. In the end i scrounged up the win by using red rising dragons effect in the Gy to summon 2 lvl 1 resonators to create tyrant red dragon archfiend baiting him into using his last overlay unit on ultimate Leo Utopia ray then since i didnt normal summon i ns chain resonator to summon another synkron resonator to Synchro summon Hot Red Dragon King calamity Negating everything then landing the finishing blow with its burn damage ability after destroying ultimate Leo.
Edit: for future record the theme that played was the very first one with the opera singer.

Fun fuct: The composer of Master Duel Is the same of Octopath Traveler, a well-known game with an absolute beautiful soundtrack!
This makes me feel like I’m dualing the final boss with the fate of the world on the line
No cards in my hand, with my life points near zero. While my opponent has fielded their strongest boss monster.
They go on a rant how their fated to win and I am nothing but an insignificant insect that somehow fumbled his way through the entire story.

I’ve rewatched this 50 plus times already.
The themes of the game reminders me of so many games from Nier Automata to Kingdom come deliverance to Octopath traveler to Death note... Such a banger soundtrack

Master Duel seriously needs to add an option to control what music you hear playing. This song is freaking awesome and I want to hear it in more games than just Monarchs and King of Armageddon stories!

I like it when the music just cranks up to 11 and my opponent playing VW is still reading his cards for 6 minutes straight.
That music makes me feel like I'm in a duel that if I lose they send me to the realm of shadows.
Getting omninegated has never felt this epic
You go into a duel and your opponent summons 3 boss monsters in 1 turn and you have to do all you can to get rid of them the next turn while this music is in play and think this might be your last duel
Just use mystic mine or royal operation to slap this meta deck

I really need to listen to more of it, I turned off sound in the game when I was installing it cause I got annoyed with the looping music that plays during it and I need to turn it on again
