I found a mod called ThisRimofMine and It's awesome. It makes a city biome. Two survivors stranded in a dead city. I made a base in a old store, made a garden and survived first tribal raid. What's next? I don't know what Randy will bring to me.
Yeah, I've checked that out it's cool. I wish there to be a good ai settlement built with the city cell as the base. Would make for really interesting raids.
the vfe insect chunks are a gift from the sky. no matter when they land, they all open simultaneously. if you're careful, you can use them against ridiculously tough raids. Just need to mop up the survivors
@@naseweis6105 never said THAT. lol sometimes the survivors are still pretty danged tough, but they are substantially softened. that and bugs are easy with the right prep.
as a someone who always loves pranking my friends and family by planting C-4's and poisoning their food. i can confirm that their face reactions to those pranks are priceless. i remember putting some funny thing in my brother's stew. he got angry soo much that he slept for 2 days.
The Deserters can be allied if you do the "Deserter" mission. They will periodically drop pod you random gear as a gift and and in rare cases (Unless this was Pure Coincidence) Help you against a empire raid.
I actually run with every one of these mods. My PC begs for sweet death, but I do not yield. I have organs to harvest, Mechanoids to build, and empires to crush under my metallic heel.

Added note to VFE:Mechanoid is with the updates FOR Biotech, there's a handful of new mechanoids that were added into the Mechinator playstyle from that mod as well, and you can also combo it with Alpha Mechanoids to grant you access to both building your own Advanced Mechanoids based off the ship upgrade system, as well as new versions of the Advanced Mechanoids to send against you.
Ok this is actually pretty cool. Vanilla Expanded is a massive ever growing modlist. It wouldn't surprise me if you have to repeat the video in the future

I love VE everything, for content altering mods I use very little beside VE mods, and I usually use any and all VE mods that fit the theme of my run (i.e. no VFE pirates or VWE laser for a medieval run). Vanilla expanded mods are very true to their name - they slot in well with vanilla balance and expand upon the game in a way that keeps the game still feeling very rimworldy.
This game now needs some "Vanilla Roof Expanded" So tribals start with "wooden roofs", that keep "some" heat/cold in Crashlanded can build roofs with "corrugated iron", keeps all heat/cold in And spacer-tech / unlock could be stone or concrete roofs, that cant be crashed thru by drop-pods and mortars
Quick question, Is the empire mod overwhelming? Asking in the context of buildings, wealth, whatnot, i like to have things somewhat more compact and not eating half of my map, i like how the vassalage and newer permits look but i dont know how to feel about some of the other features like the ballroom and stuff, i suppose the question is Is it going to be an absolute headache to somehow get the resources to make and maintain all these facilities and then defend it

I wish they would remove chitin from the vanilla insectoids expanded mod. Its an extremely overpowered material, out damaging persona weapons, and because it's a material, you frequently find pawns carrying chitin weapons into fights.
Yo, i was searching for the mod that makes your pawn´s bars with numbers and colours, how is it called? i searched a lot and couldnt find it, for example the mood and health bars in this mod its represented with percent and a color wich more close to 0 more red
i started playing rimworld recently and naturally i injected it with a lot of vanilla faction expanded content the mechanoids are now so plentiful even approaching one of their tiles means over 20 scythers, flamethrowers and lancers. i game ended myself by not having good enough equipment sooner
the Gatling gun from settlers is genuinely awful at 1 8 damage round every 2 seconds. Meanwhile, the double-action revolver from the same mod does a 3 round burst every 2 seconds with 12 damage. Why in the world would you *ever* use the gatling gun when the revolver is cheaper and 5 times better?
does the ve waster mod do that? I haven't noticed transmittable diseases in my games with the mod... asked in the rimworld dc though and apparently communicable diseases adds germs which make some diseases contagious👌

Someone really needs to call VFE out for their poor balancing and copious bugs, I had to personally patch 2 or 3 of their mods in my game because they were flat out not tested and bugged. Mostly the later mods especially as they were rushing to keep up with Vanilla DLCs
is there any mod that I can control how many factions in my map? I can sure is not faction control. It's a mod that i can just type number in any faction before generating the map, but I forgot which mod is that. 🥲

Vikings is really good but they're discontinuing it to combine it with VFE Medieval as "Medieval 2" for 1.5
