Wish I knew this a month ago! That's a great tip. Question though: when you set the I/O for the clips, are you making sure to match the length of the I/O with the markers on the timeline? Or does premiere automatically overwrite the clips with the next clip that appear at the marker
I only set the clip IN point. As long as the rest of the clip is long enough to fill the gap between its IN point and the next marker on the timeline it works. If there isn't enough video on the clip to fill the space between markers, you will get black video before the next marker. Also, you don't really have to set any IN and OUT points on the clip. I just did it to show that it was possible (and you probably want to anyway).
