I can’t listen to Cenk for more than 2 minutes
Cenk lost all remaining credibility for me when he suggested that Israel's response to what happened on October 7th was to send in "commando raids" to Gaza to locate and return the hostages... As the only response mind you...
Because the commando's would be outnumbered no matter where they go in Gaza and therefore Hamas would have a chance of killing/capturing them.
Then Cenk would just scream in victory "what did the world expect to do when Israel entered the palestinian's territory?"
thing is, these people were crying even about the commando operations that Israel did to rescue hostages they were crying about a hospital operation that had 0 civilian casualties. we all know that their agenda is that the Jews should just lie down and let themselves be unalived.

Most "conspiracy theories" are preposterous, but that doesn't mean conspiracies don't happen - history is full of them. It is not preposterous to consider the possibility of a conspiracy in this case, while appreciating that we don't yet have sufficient evidence to know for sure and that monumental ineptitude is also possible! One thing is certain - it is odd!

The very fact that a consistently reasonable man is even entertaining the idea that this was, at any level a conspiracy, causes me a great deal of concern.

Because in the end, i always taught that some part of Trump entourage would want to make something to build on the messiah BS and make Trump look like a martyr. They're both partially correct and incorrect in different areas and they're both using sloppy language.
Cenk is correct when he tells Piers that he's implying more than what it is known by saying it's odd, that's true, but he's then incorrect after that because he refused to discuss in good faith and ask the correct questions even when Piers tried to clarify. He just went on to accuse Piers.
Whereas Piers went wrong when he didn't clarify well in an orderly and succinct manner, probably given the heat of the moment. He didn't use key words and jumped around a bit and muddied the waters. He also didn't ask the correct questions and control the dialogue between them. I would say that it's ok for him to be suspicious given the reasons he presented. I thought they were sufficient to warrant investigation. He also didn't go further than that, unless I missed it.
This is one way how the conversation should've gone.

Saying something is odd doesn't mean "I know someone planned this". Saying something is odd says that "We need a better explanation".

To be logically clear, saying something is odd, is an assertion, whether you're saying someone planned it or not. You are making the claim that something is odd. So, if you assert it, you need to sufficiently justify it. Which Piers did. If you don't have sufficient justification, then you are unwarranted in continuing to assert it. If you continue to assert it, then you fall into "conspiracy theory" land because you have insufficient justification for the claim.

The assassination attempt against Trump has some weird facts: I) No police officer on the roof of a prime shooting position; II) Police potentially knew of someone on the roof 26 minutes prior to the speech; III) Police office potentially climbed on the roof and had gun pointed at him; IV) Several secret service agents were not as tall as President Trump; and V) Pause before Secret Service whisked Trump to the safety of the car. This means that there was potentially incompetence, indecision, crossed messages, or poor execution. Conspiracy theory, although not an impossibility, is low on the totem pole of possibilities. The following questions need to be answered by a thorough investigation: 1) How was the shooter allowed to get onto the roof? 2) Once the shooter was identified as a threat, what were the communications between the Secret Service and the police? 3) Were officers ordered not to engage for some reason? 3) What was the rationale for not canceling or postponing the rally? 4) What considerations were made ahead of time in respect to President Trump’s safety, size, and regarding the protection team? Right now, conspiracy theorists are laying claims to the deep state being involved as well as others who feel Trump could have orchestrated the attempt himself.
Makes me wonder if he goes into a pizza hut and shouts his order like that..
