India does not recognize Kosovo as a seperate country. This has mainly two reasons
A) India's stand in Kashmir. Giving recognition to Kosovo will strengthen separatist cause in kashmir
B) Russia supports Serbia. India do not want any conflicts with Russia

On 28 June 1914, Austrian Archduke Franz Ferdinand visited the Bosnian capital, Sarajevo. A group of six assassins from the Yugoslavist group Mlada Bosna supplied by the Serbian Black Hand had gathered on the street where the Archduke's motorcade would pass with the intention of assassinating him.
