Thanks for the video. Complex endgames are by far my biggest weakness, which is especially frustrating as im now at an otb rating, where i cant rely on winning in the middlegame as often as i used to.
I also appreciate the noctie sponsorship. Will definetly check it out, as practising endgames with stockfish always feels kind of weird, especially when stockfish doesnt play the most challenging defense, because it just wants to delay mate as long as possible

My pleasure! Yeah, playing an engine is weird and frustrating. I actually beat Noctie in the pawn breaks once and lost once at the same difficulty. That's why it's so much better.

27:21 does the plan h5,h6 help White? It seems to me that this would prevent Black from shuffling with Kg7,Kh7 which was mentioned as blacks primary defensive resource.
Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks for the stellar video!

    • @HangingPawns

@@edoggo1887 well, in the road to gm series, i give relatively long analysis of my games. But a recap compared to the work i do over a real board before hand. Analyzing a game usually takes me hours. I couldn'y do that on the channel. It would take way too long and I couldn't focus on the actual analysis. You can check the playlisy out though.
