Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family. Watching this clip reminds me of my family. I am Filipino so we have the same culture as Mexicans. When our parents were alive, their home was the hub of all family gatherings which also include our huge extended family, usually 50 of us. We gather during Christmas, New Year, Easter, Thanksgiving. And yes, as the kids got older and have their own families, things have changed and the big gatherings are no longer though we are still just as close as a family. So yes, family is everything.

Reminds me of holidays past when my family was still intact. My parents were the glue that held us together and once they passed it was like an explosion and everyone ricocheted off on their own path. My daughter and I ended up clear across the country from where we started and we haven't looked back… If you have an extended family hold them close and protect them, but don't let toxicity breed…

Reminds me when I moved from NYC to FL and went from being only kid w/ 2 uncles and grandparents only to 1st Thanksgiving at my grand aunts home same layout and it was packed w/ 200+ people ro find i was related in some way to all of them! DJ, band , great grandfather and the men playing dominoes, brandy & Cuban Cigars. Kids running. Middle generation dancing or playing instruments, women cooking and pulling the kids out of the room w/ the video games (80s it was pong but it was something lol). Yes, grab hold and enjoy your famiies
