Hi the cable from the laptop maybe broken or send on signal on one channel Change the left right input from the same cable into the mixer or plug them one at a time to see if you have sound on both end off your cable
I would connect the source directly to that speaker and tweak settings to see if you can get sound out of it. Start troubleshooting at the source first (speaker) then when those problems are solved, back it up to the cable if that's good then back it up to the mixer. Always go to the immediate (direct source first) problem first to find possible solutions
Try mic and run the cable to the speaker and try sound from laptop or phone music to the speaker. Tweak settings to see if you can get sound. Sometimes you can try to affix the problem by creating some feedback noises where the mix is close to the speaker so you know that sound is coming through.
I have never found any Alto worth more than $14.95 --Alto is garbage and they have been known to develop and buzz an hums. I myself would buy Mackie over Alto any day. I saw you said you replaced something. I assume the whole board. If you like Alto that's fine and entirely up to you... But I won't own another one ever again. I ended out throwing my Alto in the trash dumpster and purchased the ZED428 Allen and Heath from Sweetwater
UPDATE: I Got It Replaced With A Working One, thanks for your help, everyone!!!
Hey, what have you replaced ? The mixer or the port ?because I am encountering the same problem , thanks for sharing
The whole board itself!

Possible broken cable? I believe to see the level meter you need to press the PFL button near the main volume meter.

To see the main level meter on the right hand side on the desk you need to solo the channel.
Maybe completley missed the point there as a result of beer...
