In 1999 we discovered a planet in our solar system, past Pluto, and it was called Planet X. I was 9, saw it on the news, thought it was so cool, drew a picture, and waited for it to be added to science and history books, but it never was. We just stopped talking about it. I never believed in Santa, but I'd imagine the blow us something like discovering how slow and unconnected science and history can both be.

i am having a great difficult time in accepting most of the quoted distances and timescales considering that the narrator says that the furthest galaxies are travelling faster than the speed of light . it is a scientific fact that the furthest galaxies are smaller than they should be but consider this , if we could observe our own galaxy from the most distant one ,they would not see us because the solar system is only just over 4.6 billion years old and the distance from them is 13.8 billion light years therefore to them we would not exist yet giving them the illusion that we live in a small galaxy , just as we observe them to be . as for the missing planet , most exoplanets found to date are gas giants like our jupiter . it is possible that the star absorbed or tore dagon apart which is now part of the disc surrounding the star . finally the narrator repeats his statement of the missing star falling into a black hole . i am sure he means that the star collapsed by gravity and became a black hole , a term that should never have been coined because it is misinterpreted on so many wrong levels . a star that has turned into a ' black hole ' is a collapsed star that has mass and a very large gravity field , not a hole .
It didn’t disappear. Planets orbit around stars. It happens to have predictably done what it’s supposed to do and is currently on the other side of its sun.

Hydrogen, Helium, and Nitrogen are exceedingly high demand resources to those who know how to use them, and stars are incredibly difficult to mine. Freeman's ideas are wonderful, but not actually feasible due to the enormous, deleterious effects of stellar winds.

In another words somebody is changing graphic images of local and distant Universe taken by Hubble and James Web telescopes. Some of the aliens planet as Dagon is, are rouge planets then in couple decades they are appearing on a complete different distance from home star, or if it is needed they change home star for completely different star higher in energy and luminosity . During our life time we might see the planet Dagon circulating around our Sun for a while.
According to relativity, your distance/speed/light estimation is wrong. First, nothing travels FTL, it is assumed it's the space itself blobbing out. Second, Speed of light will never change no matter the speed of observer or even any huge speed differences up to close to speed of light. Only the wavelength will ever change, hence the photon energy. Thus you'll have a paradox, but the other way round.
