Here is a idea of improving the second form new boss. He would said something like “These must be your best crewmen? Well here is my!” Where he would get pirate version of your card. Not stat wise. Let say if you have a 2/2 geck. It would be pirate geck 1/1
Thought, the Diaus with the pack sigle (the one that empowers the cards next to it) would be very overpowered cause then the bells could attack as well. Each time the bells get summoned would be very good.
Putting it in a Wolf Pup is part literally part of how I won one of my runs, since the Chimes get the sigils off the base. Same principle, a bit slower.
The funny thing was he would’ve probably lost to the 2-80 limoncello because of the annoying sigils if the mutineer mechanic wasn’t added when he said the boss fight was a joke
I have to say, this run shows your skills better than any other. The fact that you beat the bosses despite not that good rng just by thinking far ahead in multiple ways including choosing out of not favourable cards. You might have filmed multiple tries but still impressive. I have beaten old all challenges with 3 cost deck, but by "cheating" - going to the main screen if i see the battle not doing good. I generaly play fps games and im not very patient, so this is my first card game ive ever tried and im going through it as fast as i can. So if you wonder why some people do that kind of playing, this can be an example. Also i thought that maybe the pirate boss would have some additional mechanics with all the challenges (harder battles specificaly) but i guess not. If not for some new special mechanics, it would be interesting to see leshy taking over the part of the fight, for example being able to turn your cards golden during the boss fight. Still would like to see some more mechanic that would make round 1 and 2 longer without making them much harder, so you get more adventure and enjoyment out of it. Some nice ideas appear in this comment section. Maybe they are long when you dont have the uber mantis god ill have to try that myself.
I literally beat this in 30 minutes.......... its not that hard. Tho im not good and not that lucky its just not hard. But some people are crazy doing it in 17 minutes wow.
It’s best to use the worm anyway because the game saves after you get the worm burned but not if it’s successful. You have a better chance with using the worm as bait but if they don’t eat the worm you can pause and restart and know for a certainty that they won’t eat your Mantis.
This video is quite an intense one, nice job calculating sifd, had a bunch of close calls when i was playing inscryption multiplayer a few hours ago this made me remind of it
yea, but hoping to get a bleach every act is very luck based as with the insta kill items u can actually buy it from trappers, get scissors from item events, or get a clock from items, overall buffing a mantis god seems like the play to win most times (atleast the most reliable)
Sifd, there was a strategy you could've done to beat the aerial wolf totem level bit quicker. On your first turn, you could have used the black goat in a bottle and sacrificed the aquasquirrel to get 3 blood for the great white, then on the next turn, you could draw another aquasquirrel to sacrifice to mantis God, meaning you could beat the level quickly, but you wouldn't get the teeth for doing extra damage. I know you won the run, but I just wanted to tell you how you could've beaten that level with ease.
Nice job navigating the early game. I did all-challenge-runs with all decks after full release (for the 2nd time, the last time was before the fecundity-nerf) and just ended it with the mantis god deck. I was lucky enough to end up with a 16/4 Mantis God with additional double-strike, bifurcated strike for a total of 6 attacks and (because Goobert tried to be funny) worthy sacrifice. Since I had the right items, I was nice enough not to destroy the ship, even though I'm pretty sure 96 damage would have been enough. :D
i used the free deck for my all challenges run. having free decks with good sigils to supplement stronger cards helps a lot, even just to sacrifice all of them.
Cat on goat is more powerful than immortality on the black goat. Also, magpie's glass is more powerful than anything else on the black goat, since one can then buff a card to +6 attack and win every fight. I've managed to kill all of the bears in the final fight with the black goat deck before, and like 5 of them in the 2nd bear fight also.
Problem with Cat on Black Goat is that 1: it takes up space on the board that can never be moved without losing all sacrifice power, and 2: if the Goat is not placed in a safe place and dies (which can definitely happen outside of your control), you lose it for the rest of the fight (VERY bad if you play 3 costs correctly by using, well, 3 costs). Unkillable Goat is a lot safer, even if slightly worse, because you will always have it on standby.
@@Spoonwood But then you really really have to guarantee that you draw the two Moose Bucks turn 1 instead of a Moose Buck and something else that doesn't do as much damage such as a bone card, to make sure the Goat doesn't die on turn 2 or 3. Again, Cat on Goat is a more rewarding in some cases but significantly more risky in almost all cases strategy.
@@roshibomb4247 No, it's not more risky. It's less risky, because you can attack faster. If you don't have two moose bucks, you have at least two 2 cost cards. Unless you take adders, that means a minimum of 4 damage on turn 1 AND you'll be able to play another card on turn 2, since you won't play the black goat in front of something on turn 1. If you tend to take 3 cost cards, you have a fair shot of having 5, 6 or more damage on the first turn. My experience definitely is that cat on black goat is safer and more powerful than cockroach on black goat, since more powerful cards get played more quickly.
@@Spoonwood This idea falls off very fast in certain boss fights. Your Goat will die, for sure, from the Prospector's pickaxe, and Cannonballs or Mole Seamen from the new Pirate fight can also easily destroy it. You will be doing more damage early, but if you don't win immediately, you risk a lot, so you really have to bank on getting quick wins. This means even the Angler might become a hidden threat, because he forces you to play slower by placing buckets in the second phase. Plus, the Trapper, if encountered early, would become impossible to end with 4 pelts, because you would have to put the Goat on the far right. That's all I'm trying to say; higher risk, but higher reward. I personally feel like the Unkillable sigil is more *safe,* even if maybe less potent.
I beat all challenges with triple blood deck, took quite a few tries, but most of my runs died on the first boss, I think I got past the first boss only like 1 or 2 times before going all the way

Okay so after trying this challenge with the mantis deck a bunch of times and failing, I tried with the high cost deck and got it my first try. The mantis deck demands too much from the first map (buffing the mantis, deleting ringworms, and most importantly getting items for the grizzly wall). RNG just never cooperated for me and I could never get a proper first map
I did an all challenges run while watching this and got a bifurcated strike mantis god (5 health and damage) meaning it struck left and right twice and the middle once and I copied it with goobert twice and used what I called the mantis god squad to destroy the limoncello in 2 turns
I've always wondered normal moon fight, but the moon has touch of death and a functioning double strike (kills all your cards than hits you directly in total).
Here’s a idea the once he is under 10 life he says “ I don’t need my crew anyway” and takes his skeleton crew and shoots them as cannon balls at your first two spots twice 😂 since the crew is a 2 damage 1 life so 4 damage the first spot and 4 damage the second. Once the captain is under like 10 HP. Ex boom boom 1 spot than boom boom 2nd spot. Having this mechanic I think would make players value the cards that have over 4 life lol

Sifd, my friend and I overcame all skulls largely depending on a pack rat we gained on the first path that we later sigil sacrificed onto a tadpole = infinite items for no sacs. do you think this is a sound strategy, or do you think we just got lucky? mantis god got to 5/5 (no xtra sigils) and we also got a goobert duplication

Pardon? Did he just say that (4x4) + (3x3) is 29? My guy, what are you talking about? I may not be the best at math, but even I know that 4x4 is 16 and that 3x4 is 12, and that 12+16 is 28. Also, it's 3x4 since they both have the same number of attacks, not 3x3.
They unlock after beating higher challenge levels. The alternate last boss unlocks after beating challenge level 12, Dire Wolf (and it's pup) after challenge level 4.
How do you beat Kaycee's mod so easily? I have already done 12 runs, 308 harmed squirrels, 388 sacrifices made, 110 misplays and 12 bosses defeated, and I haven't won even once.
Man, I understand you have to think way in advance, but must you say there's no way to win for 3 minutes straight and then win anyway? And I'm sure you already know this but (in my eyes) the true best way to beat the bears is to buff the HELL out of a unkillable mealworm. That way the buff applies to all your cards. Hey sifd try win kayce mod without using any item or flame and you can' use triple strike deck or high cost deck or bone deck and no immortal or horde sigile and no combined cards also when you see tripe card chose you need to go to it you can't take canine or insects

Kaycees mod takes place before the acts of Inscryption. It's after Leshy takes over and Kaycee (who is not yet dead by this point) takes notice of the new style of game, modifying it to fit to her own wants from a game of it's type.

You don't necessarily need an open spot. You can bleach the bears and then fly over them. That said, you didn't have that.

When I was doing this run, I got very lucky and got po3 rotating clock thingie 3 times in a row and had enough damage to win after using that

Because of the dair hand mechanic, he takes advantage of that by only having a mantis god if he were to have another 1 cost card it would be 50l50

Kaycees mod takes place before the acts of Inscryption. It's after Leshy takes over and Kaycee (who is not yet dead by this point) takes notice of the new style of game, modifying it to fit to her own wants from a game of it's type.

@@vadimyudkovsky9022 if i think I'm reading your question correctly, you are playing from Kaycee's perspective in Kaycee's mod, and after the events of Kaycee's mod, she buries the game and hides the coordinates in a pack of Inscryption playing cards, which Luke Carder finds at the beginning of Inscryption. This is explained in the unlockable dev logs.
