Wow, I didn't know MJ had participated in this song. I'm a huge fan of the original version (by Jon Anderson & Vangelis) and I really never cared much for the Donna Summer version, so this is a great discovery for me.
Q could always pack a room with super talent… Michael Jackson, Stevie. Lionel, Dionne, and the Yacht Rock crew.. Michael McDonald, Christopher Cross and Kenny Loggins.
Was that Bruce Swedien back there engineering all of this? It wouldn’t surprise me. He was definitely a master at sound engineering and capturing beautiful music!
That was so much fun to watch! All those different artists Kenny Loggins, Michael McDonald, Dionne Warwick...Dionne how in the WORLD can you smoke a cigarette while singing?! For me, in an enclosed area with that stuff it's hard to breathe without coughing much less sing. It can ruin your vocal chords..lord, not to mention cancer.
kjaee I know he use to be dark at one point but a lot of the images that we get to see aren't images of him that dark so it just threw me off a little bit.
Interesting with QJ Then three years later this group follows with Q then comes We are the world. Rest in peace Quincy jones Michael Jackson Donna Summer James Ingram
