I love how Freiza has no idea what to do with someone as simple as Goku. He's so used to vengeance seeking heroic types that he no frame of reference for someone who doesn't understand subtly. If the fight drags out long enough, Freiza will probably give himself an aneurism from beating his head against the wall that is Goku's mind.
If I remember right, part of the joke with the Row Row Row Your Boat scene is that they were still between voices for Yamcha, hence why they cut him off, but also because it's Yamcha.

I grew up with them and they are still dear to my heart despite how silly they are. Even if you don't understand the language, it's worth a watch just to hear how they speak. Yeah, Vegeta did keep yammering off about the Super Saiyan legend a lot during the fight in canon. It was brought up by Vegeta right after Recoome was taken down then Vegeta kept proclaiming that he was becoming the Super Saiyan during his fight with Frieza if I recall the original story correctly. TFS did this so that Frieza would get annoyed with Vegeta. This part of the Namek saga really dragged on for a while back in the day. I can imagine TFS just screaming “GET ON WITH IT!” like God and every else does in Monty Python and The Holy Grail.
Frieza loves to smack talk and cut down his opponents with his sharp wit and eloquent serves, unfortunately Goku doesn't understand what he's saying so Frieza can't get any satisfaction from it, which only vexes him. The knowledge that you have made the perfect chess move gives little satisfaction when you see your opponent is trying to eat his own pieces.
