Notes on the rules of baseball: As long as the ball is fair when a fielder first touches it (and it didn't go past first or third base in foul territory beforehand), it is fair. It must go past first or third base in foul territory, or be first touched by a fielder in foul territory beforehand, to count as foul. If you're holding bunt and miss the ball, and you don't pull the bat back by the time of the pitch, it counts as a swing and a miss. You're lucky this game doesn't enforce the "bunt foul on two strikes = strikeout" rule, otherwise this challenge would have been so much harder. Then again, in real baseball there are sacrifice bunts, which don't exist in this game, which made it harder for you.

Also, Poofesure got screwed by a bunt single on beating Champion Sakura in the 3rd inning 2-1, where he thought he would get the final out, but the game was tied thanks to that. Later, in the second inning, 4-1, a pitching error caused the game to tie again, and he raged quite a bit.

1:24 if anyone is curious for whatever reason: when a ball is in the infield (it hasn't passed the bases) it isn't ruled as fair or foul until it comes to a complete stop, is picked up, or goes into the outfield. While still in the infield if its rolling it can roll fair or foul all it wants until it stops or is picked up, then the call is made.Then if it goes into the outfield, fair or foul is determined by a different set of rules. It gets a lot more specific but that's the rule in a nutshell
Poof, something I’ve noticed in my play through against level 0 CPU’S is that they can’t hit anything except fast balls, the 60mph one are fine, but the 85-100 mph ones are almost guaranteed to hit.

It seems to be a golden rule of 4-seconds. Once the ball has been rolling for 4 seconds or longer, it counts as a single. All the other OUTS were 3 seconds or less. If you can find the golden spot on the bat to hit it and make it roll for 4 seconds, you can do it.
