Character redemption arc idea* Imagine the biggest son of bitch bad guy that you couldn’t help but hate. He’s cocky, arrogant, vengeful, kinda funny but the (good guys/protagonists) can’t ever defeat him. Picture he got captured, or went undercover to infiltrate the good guys. He earned their trust, even helped them at times. However when the opportunity came he betrayed them. Now imagine hearing this song as you picture him is sitting at a party. Now he’s back home. Surrounded by former (bad guy) friends who are laughing and celebrating. He gets congratulated, slapped on the back and frequently called a hero. But all he can do is stare blankly ahead unable to overcome the tidal wave of guilt for betraying the only good people he ever knew.
