I played both DOTA 2 and League before (I only play Wildrift for fun nowadays). I think League players wouldn't be complaining about overloaded champs if they have a way to deal with their kit via items and not by counterpicking an equally busted champ. I rarely see DOTA2 players complain about new hero releases because they know another hero can counter it or an item can be bought to neutralize it. League should experiment on thinking ways of allowing older champs to compete with new champs through items. But I guess if League does that, they'll be more akin to DOTA2 than ever before and they would rather see themselves s different from DOTA2
Oh you rely on skills? take this orchid/bloodthorne. Oh you rely on attacking? Take this Halberd Oh you cast spells? Take this BKB Oh you are mobile? Take this Atos/abyssal blade. there's a lot more examples but here's my point, DOTA2 allows players to build items based on what they need and their build will vary from game to game based on their enemy (heck, heroes are not locked into a role and can even switch roles/positions midgame). In League, you will be locked onto the same items every game. I love both games and both are equally toxic and fun at the same time.
thats a nice sentiment but there's a reason why most 'silence' were phased out of league especially on characters with burst (kass lb talon), getting one shot in 0.5 seconds when you are silenced for 2 seconds aint "fun", bloodthorn would be fundamentally broken in league we did have atos (everfrost), most of the time, you use it when you character already has cc, to chain them together for 2nd rotation bkb would be in the same category as hourglass and guardian angel, both of which were phased out of the game i do agree league should have more situational items with actives but as there are no str/agi/int in league, the stats for those active items will just make it a core item some champs or be completely ignored

Imagine Ambessa who can freely dash with her abilites, energy being the only limit, AND shes also a tank.
The fact that she can have that much lifesteal (provided she gets enough AD) but we're limited to 3 anti-heal items (Thornmail, Mortal Reminder, Morellonomicon) is obnoxious as fuck. It doesn't even help that the anti-heal items themselves don't provide the value they should in consideration with other items you could prioritize instead (imo).
for a while now the best way to deal w lifesteal was to just build resistances since if they do less dmg they heal less. the healcut items are just worthless 90% of the time

People complaining about her Ult costing 0 energy are the proof of the brainless league of legends community. No energy champion Ult costs anything, everysingle one of the other 5 has a 0 energy cost it´s part of every energy champion to always have their Ult available energy wise. The most broken part of her is not even the Mobility it´s the Ult passive giving armor pen and lifesteal meaning she doesn´t have to buy Black Cleaver or Ravenous Hydra she can go purely into AD HP/Resists and Ability Haste itens, she doesn´t have to buy any sustain or penetration item cause she gets it by default and this is something that is in the champion no matter what so there´s no skill expression about it. This IS the most broken thing about her who cares about her mobility when even if she didn´t have it she could stat check you
Might be a hot take but I think she's way more balanced than Ksante. I think she's easier to balance because she's a bruiser unlike ksante who's a full on tank that still deals a lot of damage with cc immune and dashes.

I’m the K’sante in the clip in 1v1 vs Dumbs and I personally believe she won’t be that broken or hard to balance, since she has 0 cc except ult and HAS to build ad she will have a lot of counterplay. She will obviously be nonplayable in low elo and only work higher elos. But since she doesn’t have much cc she will not have the ksante pro treatment and can be focused around balancing in soloq.
This guy talking has legit 0 game knowledge and everything he said was probably found on Reddit or while watching streamers. He was supprised her ult is free cost ability, while he actknowledged she is energy champion. Every single one energy champion has free cost ult, without exception. Also, Kalista has dash on every single basic attack and she can dash over wall. She was balance nightmare that Riot had to kill in order to make items look balanced on her. Now, ability haste items might be problem with her, but we'll see what's Riots plan for her.

And in reality most of them are just average to good. So the calls of broken Champs is just sorta white noise to me at this point
People need to stop calling this champ op or they're gonna over nerf her and give her 4 reworks then she won't even be the same champ. I like her design and I think once people understand how to play against her it won't be as strong as people think. Also, Cassiopeia is a great counter pick for Ambessa. If Ambessa players are getting over eager to fight you can CC her and focus on her with your team. Granted she does have 6 dashes including flash but she's very squishy and vulnerable if focused properly. These are just my thoughts so don't take them too seriously. Also she's only been out for 3 days so she's almost guaranteed to get nerfed.🙂
Playing against her felt like fighting against Riven in perma ulti form. No near levels of broken like ksante. Only problem i had against her was stupid amount of healing

Not only she can dash after any ability, but two of her basic abilities are two parters, so she can dash twice per one ability... just wow.
She is basically better Riven with Kalista passive built in as well... and Vi ult.

Mobility can still get higher ,be a Hwei type champ with a dash when casting skills and those skills being dashes. Hope no one in riot sees this.
