Great video Mile the bread box turned out amazing. Always enjoy watching your videos love the way you explain what you are doing as a new woodworker I feel like I understand everything you are doing and could go out and do it. Thanks for sharing your passion.
Great content Mike. I need to a) build a crosscut sled and b) dial in my dovetail skills. You provided plenty of ways to improve ones joinery techniques. Thanks for taking your time to lead us through the processes for this breadbox build!
Great project and video, thanks for taking the time to capture everything. Love the part with the board hitting your planer while using the table saw sled. It's funny because it's so true and relatable. I can totally see myself doing that exact same thing, but it would have probably taken me half a day to figure it out, after disassembling and rebuilding the sled about 10 times, then taking the table saw apart to see why it's sticking!
Fantastic video Mike. I’ve wanted to try a tambour project for a long time and your video has given me the confidence to give it a go. Love the honesty in the video showing the mistakes and how you fixed them. Keep these videos coming.
Mike, really, three weeks grounded for making a funny face? I think it was great. I love it when folks include family, pets, snippets of nature, etc. In their videos. Introduce us to him.
As I'm sitting here watching this, I am thinking about being able to make the Tambour track tenons cut using the Origin. You could cut the slats, then batch out the tenons on each end.
Sorry for the delay! I updated them to need fewer templates and so you don't need to remove nearly as much material for it to work. Here's the link: www.coffeycustombuilds.com/shop/p/breadbox-templates
I love how you spent 25 min and 25 sek of my time - and use the last 11 sek to show the final product... I would love to see more of the final product...
Not gonna lie, that “not a dovetail tutorial” made more sense than 99% of the dovetail tutorials I’ve watched. 🤷♂️😎
Maybe it's time to do a full breakdown!

That makes me very happy to hear! Thank you!

Thanks for watching man! I need another cross cut sled too.
Nice Job, I just did my first tambour and like you, I made the project twice. Now I feel Better. LOL Thanks for the video
We're all in this together

Thanks so much! Gotta include the failure!

Appreciate the support man! Loved making this video!
Still drooling over how good that top edge blended. It looks awesome. The brass was a nice touch.
Brass never gets old!
This is so frickin beautiful. Great job!
Thank you
looks like a fun build
It was amazing!
Turned out great.
Thanks man!
Looks great. Love the video format. Well done.
Thanks Steve! This will be the format moving forward. Much easier production and I enjoy it more.
Nice box!
Haha thanks man!
Book matches are so magical! I made a bread box like that in h.s. shop class. I'm sure it was pine and different joinery, but similar design. 😄
It's a classic look dude! So much fun.
@CoffeyCustomBuilds Yours came out amazing, really beautiful!

His insolence will not be tolerated 😁
I think a loaf of sliced wonder bread would have been a nice contrast for the final shot.
The problem is I had just eaten all of my bread.
Love the video bro! Pretty cool process to watch it all come together.
Thanks for watching dude!
Another beautiful project video from coffee… show off! Lol 😂
Great job sir!!!
Thank you! Haha
You sure you didnt make a toaster? Cause that breadbox is HOT! Tons of great information and ended up being an incredible piece.
Thanks homie! I absolutely love this one.

Yeah doing tenons on the origin would an option for sure!
What vacuum clamp is that?
It's by VAC PAD. Here's the link: kourostools.com/shop/p/woodshop-system
How long did you let the pieces rest after you re-sawed them? I am wondering if that’s why you had to clean them up with hand tools
What parts had to be cleaned up with hand tools?

I can’t find the templates on your website, can you help me

You probably already know this now, but I find it much easier to cut the rabbits from the solid piece before cutting it into individual staves
That makes so much sense!

I'll let you know when I upload the short of just shots of it
