@@infectionSincross yeah, it was surprisingly clean. Changed the paste nonetheless and saw a pretty substantial drop in temperature. Not hitting 83C any more!
Is thermal paste can be dry if my PC fans sometimes just turn up to maximum my screen go off ( I still hear for example youtube) then I have to restart it and everything good? I tried drivers and etc, but It's still doing it. sometimes it happens then its not for 2 weeks, but sometimes It's happens in every 2nd day
It's the method that is shown that is important here. I would not skimp on thermal paste, to save €3,- while ruining my graphics card (replacement won't be so cheap ;-) ), or having to repeat the process sooner than I'd like. I value my time as well.

This is perfect and straight to the point! Thank you, I'm gonna rewatch it soon when I'm about to clean and replace the paste on my GTX 1060!

Helped me a bunch. I used arctic silver 5, working great! Much thanks!
where is the link ? the test after you replace thermal paste
do NOT do this if your graphic card is still in warranty, only do this when it's out of warranty. if u do it it will void the warranty
better then letting it die from dust, you think youll get a replacement for letting it die in dust yourself?
@@budgetking2591 If it accumulated during normal use, and you weren't able to fix it without voiding the warranty... yes, you should.
@@EmmaJ_462 forget about that.
If you live in the US, it's fine, it's against the law here to revoke warranty after removing the sticker.
i have same cards as yours. what about thermal pads?
