Thank you darling, my parents have been hosting the best parties since before I was born, I learnt all my mothers and grandmothers recipes and my parents have had lots of private chefs cook for events and I was lucky enough to learn a recipe or two! We have a property on my family estate but they don't spend much time here, they come back to may hay whilst the sun shines!! It seems like an odd set up but it works for us and we love it xx

I have no idea how you stayed clean in that outfit - I would have splashed something on me for sure. As always your table looked fabulous and your menu was to die for. I must admit I was a little taken aback that Alessio put olive oil in the pasta since most Italians would save a bit of the pasta cooking water, drain the pasta, mix the pasta and the sauce and then add a bit of the reserved water if needed.
