Oh, Lissa! I didn’t realize you were so close to your Golden Anniversary! That’s awesome! Thanks for your kind words, and I agree - this is one of Jay’s best!
The Piece Makers are pretty sneaky. I thought that they were making a mistake at first, but I was wrong. So many funny parts. I love Sadie and Coleman together so was relieved that they ended up together. I loved all the different voices, Jay-you are quite talented.
I’ll be honest, I’ve been upset with these matchmaker ladies since the last book’s epilogue. I definitely started this book with a frown on my face. Lol. I really enjoyed this one though. I definitely bookmarked some tidbits of wisdom to save. I can’t wait for more!
Me too. I'm only on chapter nine right now, so I don't know how it will shake out and what exactly they were doing, but it makes me annoyed, because no matter their end goal, they were hurting Sadie. I don't care what an end goal is planned, doing something that will cause pain and doubt and upset to a lovely person, on purpose, is cruel. It feels very unGodly to do that to someone.
What a lovely story combining romance, horses, books and French toast, all of my favorite things! Enjoyed the calving scene with Little Sadie. Loved all the different voices of the older ladies. Thank you.
Your favorite things look very similar to mine. ❤ The calving scene was my favorite part of the book to write. Glad you enjoyed it! And no one does voices like Jay. No one.
I just finished reading this ebook and it is my favorite. I thought for sure that the Piece Makers had made a mistake this time on their attempt at matchmaking. Boy was I relieved on the outcome. I should have known that Jessie wouldn't let her readers down. Thanks for your great audio of this book.
This story is so fun to read with the Piece makers putting together two unexpected people as a match which seems odd but there definitely is a madness to their madness. As usual Jay does a great job on the audio book.
Really enjoyed listening and reading this book today. I also am happy you have managed to put out the video and the book on the same day. Super job again, Jessie and Jay! Thank you!
Another great fantastic story by Jessie and Jay brings them to life more than my just reading them. And I can't help but think when Jessie writes about something that is happening with the cows it is from personal experience :)
Thank you so much Denice - I'm so glad you enjoyed it. Plus, I'm with you - I think Jessie does have an unfair advantage in any bovine-related fiction!
@Jessie another great audiobook I've gone through your audiobooks like a running faucet and when I don't listen for a day I miss the romance stories 😔 😁 I know that novels are fiction, but I'm having this feeling that some of these stories have some truths in them (like you know some of these people just saying) @Jay I was listening to another audiobook and it's not the same you really bring Jessie's novels to life. PS the peacemakers are too funny, I'm wondering who they are going to match Alwyns mom 🤔 Thank you for sharing your heart and love for writing sweet romance novels. God bless you both always 🙏🏾 ❤️
Thank you, Yolanda! I can't say for certain whether or not Jessie writes all of these stories from real-life experience or not, but even if not, I can definitely say that I've read sections that could've been me - Jessie just has this gift for writing such authentic people with real, genuine stories. It amazes me every book I read!
Great plot! I was intrigued from the lead-in on the prior book. My favorite line from the entire book was Nolt, when he said “on purpose?” And Jay’s delivery is superb. For those of you who have finished the book, you know what I mean. I’m still laughing on that one!
Think of God, your spouse and yourself as points on a triangle. God at the top and you and your spouse at the bottom points. As you move closer to God, it will bring closer to each other.
Hi Brenda! First, thank you, I'm so glad you enjoy SWJ! There are a couple of things that you might can do: first, if you remember what chapter you ended with, and go into a video's description (you may have to hit "more" beneath the title), at the very bottom, you'll see all the chapters listed with a time stamp that you can click on to take you right to the next one from where you stopped. Also, if you go to your history, you can restart the video from there, and it should pick up where you left off (finding your history can vary depending on the device you're using - but if you look for a button or icon labelled "You", it's usually there). Hope that helps!
It diminishes my enjoyment of any video, book or audiobook a little when I hear or read "ly" added to adverbs, such as: first, third, often and many more. But it seems like everyone speaks this way nowadays. Wouldn't it sound stange if they started to say: tenthly, bestly, neverly, abovely? However, I love your books and hope you will continue to share them with us.
Thank you for your comment. I’m always looking for ways to improve, and I’ll see what I can do about making my writing better. (Jay reads exactly what I write, so the issue is totally on me.) I’m glad you can enjoy the story anyway. Thanks for your kind words!
I was a bit afraid to write this comment because I don't like to hurt people. I'm relieved to see that you're taking it as it was meant. Thank you for your positive answer.
@@colly1952 I'm so glad you did! I'll be more mindful from now on. And please don't be afraid - Jay doesn't bite at all, and I only do so occasionally. ; ) Seriously, comments are always welcome!
Ha! I get that. Some people don't respond well to pushing. Yesterday, my daughter, Julia, and I were watching my granddaughter, whose mom had just gotten her a new book. (She's 2) Julia asked my gd to go get the book so they could read it together. My gd said, "No" and and stood and watched to see what we would do, I guess. As a parent I wouldn't have allowed her to say "no" but as a grandparent I just started talking to Julia about the page with the chickens, where you pull down the flap and see the eggs under them. (My gd and I had read the book earlier and she had loved that page.) I hadn't finished describing how neat it was to Julia before my gd had run into her room, come back clutching the book and jumped into Julia's lap, begging for her to read it. It's funny how, as adults, we're (at least me) not so different from two-year-olds - we don't want people to tell us what to do; we want to decide for ourselves. Anyway, in this book, the matchmakers just salted the oats a little. : )
Absolutely love this story . It's a beautiful love story
It really is - thank you, and I'm so glad you enjoyed it!
Loved all the sermon like stories which we should all strive to live very good story and reading. Reading kept me going and never missed the TV.
Thank you, Darcy - so glad you're enjoying all these!
I continue to love Jessie’s books. I learned things I should have implemented and plan to in my 49 year marriage.
Jay, you do a wonderful job as well😏

Thank you Lissa! (You'll have to let us know before you hit the big 5-0 so we can help you celebrate!)
I loved this story. The Piece Makers were a kick. 😊
Haha! I'm so glad you enjoyed it! It was so much fun to write those ladies, and it was even better listening to Jay's performance of them!
Loved this one
Thank you, Jan! I'm so glad you did!

I skipped to the end, lol.

I enjoyed this story and loved how you did the ending
Wasn't that just the best ending? One of Jessie's greatest yet! Thanks, Hilda - so glad you enjoyed it!
It was a sweet story. I liked it.

Very well said - such a wonderful example. Thank you for sharing that!
I enjoy Say with Jay very much. I just wish that I could pick up in the chapter where I left of listening.

For once I'm annoyed with the ladies I wish they had pushed Coleman and Sadie together
