👍🏼 I agree, you definitely have to explain what you want to your hairdresser but some absolutely don’t listen. And then the customer is left with a hair style they didn’t ask for. And then there’s the ones that rush you or do other people in between your appointment. That’s been my experience at a lot of places. honest and true. 🤷🏼♀️
This is probably why I always leave a salon upset and never return, lol.

I just called for an appointment and because I don’t have a stylist I heard them laughing down the phone, and when the lady came back I said I didn’t want it anymore. Your all laughing but don’t even know how dirty the last hairdresser did me 😭🤣 this is why people end up on Brads channel

Did she ever do the video on explain what cut you want? This is great. Should also do one on how to identify your hairs product needs like masks, shampoo for dry or hydration, etc

I know this is a year old, and I’m not sure if you’ll see this but I’m getting balayage this Friday and I’m not sure what to ask for I have medium dark brown hair and I want something that will stick out but not so much! Please let me know what you think I should ask for. Thank you!
Hey! I wouldn't ask for balayage. I need to make a video about this to clarify better but when you balayage dark brown hair it only lifts a couple levels because balayage means painted hair. When it's not wrapped in a foil it doesn't lift enough levels to pass the brass phase so when your toner rinses out it looks brassy! I would recommend doing highlights but find a picture with the color and highlight placement that you like and show your stylist that. Also if you dont like the look of highlights coming straight out at the root add a soft root blend! Hope this helps!

This was great, I feel I totally should have watched this before getting my hair coloured professionally, it would have saved myself and my stylist time trying to communicate what I wanted vs what was possible - though we got there by the end of the consultation! lol.

Lol the super dramatic face frame is how my hair naturally grows out of my head...I think it looks pretty cool though cause I dye it pastel pink so I just have a pink streak in the front and then pink tips!

This is very nice of you to offer all this info, but I couldn't tell you how many times I have told my stylist that I want some lowlights for contrast on my blond and I walk out with brown hair. Even though I have repeatedly said, I want to keep most of the blond, I just want some contrast, the result is the same. I feel like stylist just don't want to take the time to do it right and it happens no matter where I go.

abx hey! Don’t panic! how is their work!? Also if you are blonde I recommend Balayage but if you have dark hair and don’t want brass stick to highlights. Highlights lighten the hair more easily and lift through the stages of brassy Hair.

So I finally decided recently to go round all the salons in my area and see what I think about them. And then I went on their facebooks and saw some of thier work. My favourite was this salon called “Salon Above” you can find it on Facebook if you search “salon above Kirkintilloch”. I really liked their work and their styles but please let me know what you think about them also ❤️

Just got my hair done for the 4th time for her and she said I can only do highlights and it looks a bit blotchy. Is this true? I take extremely great cate of my hair, not washing frequently, cold water when I do, hair masks, high end shampoo/cond, a little purple shampoo everyone once in a while since I have cool and warm tones. I’m not very satisfied with the color and pay close to $300 each time. Please help me!!! I’d love your advice!!!
