The Mosin Nagant is crazy for having 5 unique reloads, each for a different amount of bullets left in the gun.

The M1912 is kinda of an exception really since detachable magazines had been around for about 10 years, the reason why the kept the clip was because it was a feature carried over from the early mannlicher pistols wich were designed to compete with the C96.
They used clips because : 1- Clips are cheaper. 2- Clips are far far easier to mass produce. 3- Clips are much lighter. 4- For rifles , it didn't matter because most rifles only had 5 round mags anyway. The difference was negligible. 5- Magazines failed a lot back then. Clips were more reliable. 6- Also , for Austro-Hungarian guns this was also done because their military had this "no loose cartridge" policy. Every ammunition a soldier needed was pre packaged and ready to go. Clips are much easier to do this than with magazines.
One of the reasons for this (on the 1912 in particular) is that one of the problems with detachable magazines at the time was getting all the magazines to fit in all the pistols of the same model. Some weapons tended to be finicky, and just wouldn't work with any magazine besides the one they came with. It was a lot easier to make one magazine that works in a gun and leave it fixed w/stripper clips than to standardize magazines and pistols across the board.
Idk all battlefield animations suck every single game the animations not smooth at all just like they have no feeling, call of duty every single game has good animations besides the ray gun in bo3

Almost every pistol nowadays uses a direct recoil operated slide and tilting barrel combo popularized by the 1911 just because it works, and it works better and more reliably than most of the alternatives available even now. The C-93 on the other hand used a toggle action elbow joint to actuate the pistol, something seen in only one other mass produced pistol as far as I'm aware, that being the P08, alongside multiple failed prototypes throughout the years. While by no means bad, (the P08 and C-93 were serviceable pistols during their hay day,) the toggle action just couldn't compete, and it's like that with a lot of firearms technology. Meanwhile the processor: *Plane motor noises*
The Nagant revolver is how I reloaded cap guns when I was a kid
As a britanic support player, i see this as a absolute win.
Every other gun reloading: *Click click click!*
Revolvers: *Click chick click chick click chick click chick click chick*
✨Done!✨
These never get old
