Man..... Bowser's last theme in Super Mario 64 still gives me the creeps..... that organ.. how they managed to make it so ominous I have no idea. And it was so misplaced in a cutesy Mario game too. I maintain to this day that this particular boss theme must have gotten lost on its way to Konami's next Castlevania-game.

Vincent Rousset ganondorf is great but bowser is like a classic, and i think also a mario series classic, no matter how much times you fight him its still a good fight for me and alot of other people it just doesnt get boring for me.

Obviously, the N64 theme is the best! This organ is just so beautiful, so dramatic and theatralic! Perfect fit for an evil villain like Bowser! I'm starting to notice a leitmotif with some of the older songs, going up 3 notes then down half a note, most notable in Ultimate Koopa and the Yoshi's Island Final Boss theme, but it's present in the older tracks too.
Damn the Galaxy games really took it to the next level. Different variations, choirs, and tension. Sure, 64’s final theme was really good, but it simply doesn’t compare to the complexity and feel of any of the Galaxy themes.

Super Mario 64's Final Bowser theme feels like a final battle to the death. New Super Mario Bros. Wii and New Super Mario Bros. 2 Final Bowser gives off the feeling that Bowser has had enough of your shit and just wants you fucking dead.
9:39 I know that's the SMG final boss music, but I kinda hoped youd put the music when u battle him before the final showdown. Same with NSMBWii/NSMB2. All three games have 'stages', in SMG, u have to battle him on 3 planets before proceeding to the final battle, and that's the music I mean. In the NSMB games, there's the music that plays before he falls into the pit.

3d world has the easiest final boss... however, it was still amazing and also the music that came with it, especially phase 2, definitely compensated for that games are getting easier and easier... but tbh idc cuz at the same time the music is getting better and better. it just gives u more time to listen to it while u beat the crap out of an overgrown fire breathing turtle

I like the Galaxy final boss theme... but I have a problem with it. Bowser is this super powerful being, because he has the power of a grand star inside of him, so you should be terrified of the upcoming battle... but the theme is filled with too much hope.
I think that's because the game expects you to overcome Bowser's power and that's why it's full of hope.Doesn't matter if he's at top form or not, if there's a way to be him, he *will* fall.

The 1st one still makes me feel anxiety to this day, in a nice way though. 64's for sure too, but the 1st Mario was basically my very first exposure to games, so it felt like the stakes were so high.
SMW Bowser is my favorite Bowser. He didn’t seem like a joke like in the games afterwards. His sprite looks creepy as fuck. The whole atmosphere of the battle and the weird metal music. It’s also fun to play. 64 Bowser had a mysterious quality. The castle was strange with all the paintings and endless stairs, hidden secrets, ghosts in the courtyard, and Bowser somehow could talk to you and laugh without you knowing where he was. Sort of creepy. Sunshine Bowser was a mockery (although I like Sunshine). Galaxy partially restored some of his badass nature, although still somewhat a mockery. Then afterwards it’s just been downhill.
I don't why but Mario world bowser and the theme freaks me out don't know why And the New Super Mario Bros one is giving me flashbacks with 3D lands Galaxies sounds like it could be in Star Wars

Mario 64's theme is by far the best theme for Bowser.
9:39 I know that's the SMG final boss music, but I kinda hoped youd put the music when u battle him before the final showdown. Same with NSMBWii/NSMB2. All three games have 'stages', in SMG, u have to battle him on 3 planets before proceeding to the final battle, and that's the music I mean. In the NSMB games, there's the music that plays before he falls into the pit.

The Mario 3 theme is underrated. Mario 3 and Galaxy are my favorite bowser themes.

3d world has the easiest final boss... however, it was still amazing and also the music that came with it, especially phase 2, definitely compensated for that

E' un peccato che i nuovi giochi di Mario non abbaino certi pezzi così spettacolari. La mia preferita dei Mario su 3DS/WiiU è Mario 3DLand, ma comunque non è minimamente al livelli dei giochi di Wii.

This is the only video I could find with wiiu bowser theme in it without gameplay noises added because the main video of the theme was deleted.
I like the Galaxy final boss theme... but I have a problem with it. Bowser is this super powerful being, because he has the power of a grand star inside of him, so you should be terrified of the upcoming battle... but the theme is filled with too much hope.
I think that's because the game expects you to overcome Bowser's power and that's why it's full of hope.Doesn't matter if he's at top form or not, if there's a way to be him, he *will* fall.

The 1st one still makes me feel anxiety to this day, in a nice way though. 64's for sure too, but the 1st Mario was basically my very first exposure to games, so it felt like the stakes were so high.
SMW Bowser is my favorite Bowser. He didn’t seem like a joke like in the games afterwards. His sprite looks creepy as fuck. The whole atmosphere of the battle and the weird metal music. It’s also fun to play. 64 Bowser had a mysterious quality. The castle was strange with all the paintings and endless stairs, hidden secrets, ghosts in the courtyard, and Bowser somehow could talk to you and laugh without you knowing where he was. Sort of creepy. Sunshine Bowser was a mockery (although I like Sunshine). Galaxy partially restored some of his badass nature, although still somewhat a mockery. Then afterwards it’s just been downhill.
