Hell yeah!! Dance in The Desert had me looking for titles. THanks!
There's an Allman Brothers song early in the first set as well. no?
32:50 is ROSE IN A GARDEN
This is about as good as anything you’ll hear. And about a million times better than whatever Nashville radio is putting out.
Loving the subtle and super slow phaser on Daniel's Tele sound. Puts gradual variations on the tone as he's wailing and picking, adding dynamics in a push pull kind of way. Helluva band !!
country jam band music of the future...so good
It was also the music of the past with Gram Parsons and the Flying Burrito Brothers not to mention how much the Dead covered classic country tunes(which Cosmic Country does in this very same show by playing Big River, a Johnny Cash tune that was covered endlessly by the Dead. Regardless, I really really hope that you are right
Excellent ! Support Live Music !!
Jesus...song before set break reached holy shit moments. Band took chances and nailed it. Like really as good as music gets in those 5-7 minutes
I agree 💯%
Yes, "Dance in the Desert". Love the jamming with the sparse wah-wah chink-a-chink on 2nd guitar.
100%
Still spreading the Cosmic Country like peanut butter...nice and even!
You are the Jelly that holds my sandwich together when I am hungry.
It's really cool what you're doing Daniel
I'm a very traditional country and grass guitar player in Texas . But I'm also a fan of grateful dead and cream and 60s psychedelia.
It's really cool this exists and I can't wait to see how Yall develop
man, the jam during justice where they go into Jessica and after - DAMN
This band has gotten so damn good in the last year!
His band from a few years ago really sucked compared to this one. I’m not sure all that changed
As players yes but those vocal harmonies need some work oof
this is a badass concert we are lucky to watch free
Best thing since JGB. 💎
I think so too👍❣️🎈
Bring cosmic country to Grand Junction, CO. It'd be a good ole' boot stomping get down!
I’ve seen these guys 7 times in the Northeast in the past year and I’m hooked. 4 very talented musicians from various musical backgrounds who meld into and amazing jam band
Back on the train jam is 🔥
Fuck yeah!! This guy gets it!!!!
This was one of the best concerts that I’ve ever been to!
have you been to 1 concert ever?
@@jbar260d2 Does your mom know you have her phone?
Ready to see these guys rock in Albany on March 9. Very psyched!!
So wish I could make that show.
Daniel Donato is seriously the BEST THING that has happened to music in a LONG time ... He's a genius and his Band is just as Equal ... Sugarleg on Keys is Insane, Noah is just the fastest and the BEST and Will on the Bass funks it all up!! LOVE THESE GUYS!! Psyched to see them again in New Orleans for Dayz Between Fest in 2 weeks, then in Asbury Park for July 4th, and Baygrass Fest in Annaspolis, MD ... and Many more in between and thereafter!!
Daniel is a Wizard! I love that Tele too. Damn good show, thank you kindly for the upload.
WOW. 😲 💫🤠 What a show! 💃🏼
These guys are absolutely unreal. I've been keeping my eyes peeled for a pnw run since discovering them a couple years ago. They blow my fucking mind and I love what they do. So much sound for 4 dudes.
Thanks Daniel Ive never heard this band but will from now on.
Thank you so much for providing these very high quality videos, the sound is great, so is the videography!
Looking forward to our next show in October (MN).
Yee-haw!
@bertkreisher love you and you'll love this band!
I was thinking this around 9 minutes ,,,almost like some Allman Brothers things starting,,,? And that it did,! 👍 Just came across these guys this morning, cool creative band! cool tight playing together! And the lead guy plays very tasteful good on the tele!✨✨✨✨🐦
Heading to see them in 6 hrs in Clevaland along with Greensky Bluegrass. Can't wait. :)
Bob Weir just gave you a shout out and here I am
Daniel is awesome 👍😎
You aways kicking butt cosmic country
Damn. Lil i can see clearly now riff in southbound jam is sweet. Love these guys.
The musicianship is so good with each member, it's unbelievable. If Danny can find a killer vocalist, this group could rival some of the great bands of all time.
Not sure if he needs one.
@@leslienewcomer6947 -- Yeah, it pained me to say that....but I was thinking of Gregg Allman, Robert Plant, Roger Daltry, Hank Williams, Ronnie Van Zant, etc.....all those guys with distinctive, strong voices. The band is so strong...but a powerful singer would put them into legend status.
totally agree on the vocals
@@joeycarter8846 Or maybe Daniel needs to work on getting the vibrations to start lower down in the abdomen, and be very fussy about the range of each song. I'd like for him to "fall in love with singing" the same way he has with playing (and arranging and bandleading). Wishing these guys great success.
Id agree, it'd be like The Band 2.0
They played at shakori this past weekend, great show, love these guys especially Sugar!!!
I don't know anything about these folks but they sound great! Thanks once again Mr. Charlie!
Just found you! Holy smokes you all rock
I can feel the Cosmic Country in the air! Love opening up with a quick jump on the Freeze pedal, Daniel. Love you!
Can't wait to see you guys at Island Exodus in January!
These guys are amazing. See them live
Great show! I can't wait to catch y'all on the road again. My nephews and I travel the whole east coast for work, hopefully our travels will align soon.
Hot damn this is fire 🔥
Super stoked to see you play in Indianapolis tomorrow.
Love it!!!
nice! Fort Collins is my hometown. I hope you enjoyed it. Use to watch you play at Robert's Western World many moons ago. STELLAR!
So good!
Playing in Austin, Feb 3rd, at the Scoot Inn E. Austin. Be there or be square...
Don Rich would like this...!
I’ve always liked these guys. Love the fusion of Dead meets Merle. Daniel’s playing is crazy good. I do think Daniel’s voice is a perfect backup singer though. They need a lead vocalist that can take them to another level.
His voice is laughably bad. I think he just needs to sing more at home or something. He sounds like he hasn't found his voice yet.
@@tommusik5863 OK so who is he supposed to sound like they said the same damn thing about Willie Nelson and Bob Dylan.
@@markplauche8695 He's supposed to sound like him. He's not there yet.
Daniel's voice is perfect for these guys.
@@markplauche8695 Willie, Dylan, Neil Young, Geddy Lee, etc. all had unique voices that didn’t fit the “normal” sounding vocals of their counterparts. However, their voices offered an addictive quality that was incomparable to any other. In my opinion, Daniel doesn’t have that. His voice doesn’t match the level of his guitar playing.
Amazing stuff. Thanks for posting ✌🏼 ☮️ 🤠
@bertkreisher love you and you'll love this band! @danieldonato
Wow, that DITD slaps!
Love these guys! Always a must-see show!
Well done 👍🏻 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻✌🏻🇺🇸
Switched out the bison for a turquoise cowboy boot!!! FIIIIIIRE
Fantastic thanks 👍
“That’s like your opinion man” -the dude
Sweet!
Enjoyed watching the premiere, Daniel! 🎶💖🔥💖🎵Cheers! \|/
Is he playing Big Mon at the end of the Luck of the Draw jam, or...?
You remind me of a young Robbie Hoddinott, (RIP) one of my favorite Telecaster players. I am sure you are familiar with him.
Kingfish Tele wiz
awesome show...the keyboard player obviously mixed this...LMAO🤣 ,just kidding, great show.
youd think he wouldve mixed his vocals completely out of the mix ! YIKES
Amazing groove. Grateful Dead with a pulse....!
Uh... pardon me, you know-nothing stain?!?
Is there a album or cd of this concert or does this band have an album at all?
They have two studio albums out right now, but of course the live stuff is really where they come alive. The two albums are "A young man's country" and "Cosmic country and western songs"
Appreciate This , ...BLAST OFF TO the Moon 🚀 👨🚀 🚀👩🚀 🌙 🌈 , ....No Need for a Count Down....You Guy's are a GIFT 🎁 🙏, KEEP ON PICKING BOY'S & GIRL'S 😊. ....Don't Forget to Put your HELMETS ON ⛑️ 🪖,..... Stay Safe & Healthy , My Friend's ✌️ ☮️ 🕊 🌈 Love U.

Jbar, didn't I just make fun of you using your mom's phone? Was that in this same thread?
Listens to Grateful Dead once.
(Don't hate, I'm a supporter of Dan.)
What is it you were trying to say, strange (not in a good way) person?
Definitely not county music. Jam-twang !!!
First time EVER; listening to him. Love it! Jam-twang...good description.
Well … Eddie Rabbit kinda had these feels .. he was considered Country , yet progressive
There isn't much good country left. I assume you were being complimentary with "Jam-twang?"
28:39 @bertkreisher love you and you'll love this band! @danieldonato
Can't wait to see you cats in Charleston SC!!!!!!
