I betcha he's working on the esprit on the down low , & using this Mercedes thing to remind us he's still alive & let referrals build up who,e we wait
I bet someday , the esprit videos will come like an avalanche - hope we get to see some by Christmas - if we are lucky enough to live that long

11:55, looking at that would deter most weekend welders, but not you, oh not you. With your land rover welding experience, you tackled that methodically and logically piece by piece and the result at 15:32 is a better result than I could ever imagine completing myself. You inspire me to follow your path, producing quality work that is built to last with a great look, and finish my project that has similar rust issues, which has been sitting in my garage rotting away since 2016. I really enjoy your videos and look forward to each and every upload. Thanks.

Conscious of it all the time when I'm doing the patron updates, I know it always looks like I've done nothing. It's non stop, just massively slow and time consuming. Put it this way; I produced the first say 20 episodes using two storage cards, 32GB each. I had to get creative to be able to keep filming for this episode, having filled 6 of those cards and still things to cover. I'd say yee of little faith, but I know you have it ;) Thanks for sticking around Jon 🍻

@@soupclassicmotoring You don't need to worry about that George. We all know that you work bloody hard and you're out there in all weathers! The end results are fantastic and very satisfying! Has the field dried out? I'm wondering if you're still planning on getting the container on to the paddock? Do you remember the first workshop where you started the Range Rover? You had the classic 'Athena' Syd Brak poster on the wall...where did you find it?? They are hard to come by now!

@@jmoakey The container, is a no go until July earliest what with all this that's going on. The phrase they used was 'sh*t show'. It's thrown all my plans and schedules out the window. The Syd Brak... you can say that again, I've looked on and off for years because my pals made a mess of my one when I was a teenager. It was my older cousins before me, so it's been in the family from new, lol. Back in storage now until I build my forever workshop.

I came to your channel at the recommendation of your fellow RUclipsr - Ronald Finger - what an awesome channel you have here! For the last two weeks I have binge-watched your videos and your channel is supreme. I don't understand why you don't have over a million subscribers. People need to hear about your channel. Great job! I am addicted and in love with your content.

After such a long time of watching your vids, I've just rolled a '71 Alfa Romeo 1300 GT Junior off a trailer, into my shed. A few days of fettling has got her running, with rebuilt carbs and a refreshed fuel system. This timely video has given me the gumption required to address the real issue though: the rust. Out to the shed I go...
