It’s great to see you making progress with this, a W123 is a great car and well worth saving. You have inspired me to get a mig welder and get started learning to mig weld myself, I’ll be ordering one soon. Like many of us here in Ireland and indeed the world, I suddenly find myself with lots of time.

Now, keep using the gas welder - no more pigeon poop welding!!
Conscious of it all the time when I'm doing the patron updates, I know it always looks like I've done nothing. It's non stop, just massively slow and time consuming. Put it this way; I produced the first say 20 episodes using two storage cards, 32GB each. I'd say yee of little faith, but I know you have it ;) Thanks for sticking around Jon 🍻
@@soupclassicmotoring You don't need to worry about that George. We all know that you work bloody hard and you're out there in all weathers! The end results are fantastic and very satisfying! @@jmoakey The container, is a no go until July earliest what with all this that's going on. The phrase they used was 'sh*t show'. It's thrown all my plans and schedules out the window. It was my older cousins before me, so it's been in the family from new, lol. Back in storage now until I build my forever workshop.

All the time in the world now !! I have watched your 1.5 vid on the Range Rover and figured that if you spent 20 second a shot and I am sure many took longer than that, it would take 720 hours to do that 1.5 hour. You have a lot of patience, mate. Great work.
Top marks that man! It’s just so hugely satisfying when you get to that point of putting stuff back on. Loved the mistake too - makes me feel a lot more normal!
Right, I'm off down the garage to fiddle with the E39. Took me 4 years to reverse the age (zero rust tho, Bangkok car), and now that I never hear a peep out of it, I kinda miss the blood, sweat and tears of a restoration. And there's a lot of sweat doing it in 40 deg, 100% humidity.

I always love the rust repair videos because it helps me work up the courage to tackle it on my car (which is coming soon). Another great video as always.
Glad to help and good luck with it :)
wonderful as usual, your beautiful work deserves 100 times your current subscriber base.
My patrons keep me afloat... so long as they grow it's all good :) Thanks a mill stoolz

Agree with all of the positive comments. Always look forward to your updates. Best production I've seen on the restoration process. Will certainly keep following as long as you keep updating on your projects. Cheers.
George, you do amazing work on the car and the photography is a joy to watch! You re true artist.
Amazing video, amazing editing, amazing info on how to build classic benzes, and a little comedian. Subscribed.
Thanks for the sub and for the kind words :)
Excellent standard of work and attention to detail.. and the rear ride height is perfect!
It's looking good isn't it. Can't wait to get the front springs in ;) Thanks Pete

More patience than a saint to make these videos. Great work!
My meditation ;) Thanks
Mesmerically mesmeric to watch & listen to. Off for big ZZZ’s now . . . .
sleep well ;)
It's not restoring... You are making the new auto mobile....
It's piece of art.
Do my best! Thanks :)
I know these videos take an age to film and edit... but they are SOOOOO good to watch! You’re doing a great job.
Glad to know they're appreciated, just sorry I can't make them faster. Thanks :)
Just found you in my suggestions list. Love your cinematography, great music and fantastic commentary!
Good to know it's popping up here and there :) Thanks a mill for dropping a comment
All the time in the world now !! I have watched your 1.5 vid on the Range Rover and figured that if you spent 20 second a shot and I am sure many took longer than that, it would take 720 hours to do that 1.5 hour. You have a lot of patience, mate. Great work.
Have never totted up the hours but I do have a log.
How do you not have at least 1,000,000 subs? That is some quality stop motion video right there!
As usual, absolutely brilliant,
The only tube video that i watch repeatedly.
Love it, thanks Alasdair
Loving your content!, I myself am a mechanic and sealing the diff up before putting the axles in made my day, absolutely brilliant bud
Hahaha deadly, thanks man
Top marks that man! It’s just so hugely satisfying when you get to that point of putting stuff back on. Loved the mistake too - makes me feel a lot more normal!
one of many many in this round of work. had more than one silly day. Thanks
Still the best content on RUclips. Keep at it George, first spin isn't too far away!
Just a virus away 🎶
Right, I'm off down the garage to fiddle with the E39.
Took me 4 years to reverse the age (zero rust tho, Bangkok car), and now that I never hear a peep out of it, I kinda miss the blood, sweat and tears of a restoration. And there's a lot of sweat doing it in 40 deg, 100% humidity.
Yeah tough gig in any kind of humidity, fair play, well done and thanks :)
@@soupclassicmotoring Nowhere near the major surgery you've done.
there will be a point in your life, your channel will blow up ... i REALLY like your content much !!! Well done !
Editing level of your videos are in godmode. I enjoy watching MB restoration. Always!
I always try select godmode, but it's a bit temperamental ;) Thanks
Blown away by your incredible dedication. Very enjoyable as always.
Have to do something to stay off the streets, thanks FML lol
ive always wanted to see stop motion auto repair. the Benz is such a bonus
Lot's of other episodes too :) Thanks
