Thanks Jason - I wouldn't have come across this company without this video - I love their custom options and will more than likely be placing an order!
Haven't seen your Jeep in a long time, it looks great! I have a black '05 TJ Rocky Mtn and just put the black and blue Bartact seat covers in it. And it looks sharp! I definitely am a Bartact nut, complete with the 4 o.s. handles and fire extinguisher holder. Keep up the great work, that is one clean Jeep. 👍
Love the channel, especially love all the Jeep content, love Pinto The Dog! As soon as this video ended I ordered mine - can’t wait to receive and install them. Or, more accurately, get past and through the installation process so I can start enjoying them!
Thanks for the review. I just placed an order for my tacoma seat covers. Thanks to this video I got to see what the "x-cel" and carbon fiber fabrics were. Decided to go cordura and regular black vinyl.
On the pricey side but by far, the most premium seat cover option on the market. These aren't the typical off the shelf neoprene slip ons. The craftsmanship & quality control is top tier & customizable options gives you endless options. I personally went with their Enduro Elites which I love but a part of me wishes I had just went with the seat covers to save myself from all the codes the Jeep starts throwing & all the work-arounds needed to trick the Jeep into "thinking" you're still running factory seats. Regardless of what route you go, be it their seat covers or full on seat replacement, PRP is worth every nickel.
@@AutoEdits love 'em! Comfy as hell, feels like being a fetus still in the womb but didn'ttruly appreciatethem till after my 1st road trip. It's a good 4 hour ride to the nearest OHV park. Usually I'm fatigued after the ride but the 1st time I went after installing Enduro Elites I wasn't as drained.
I was just searching for seat covers. For our "Dog Taxi", as well as for our customers. I really like these PRP. I'm not sure which will be the best material. As we removed our rear seat for the dogs, we only need the front. The hair of the dogs are sticking everywhere. they seem like a magnet 😂. Thanks for the video. Hope Pinto is well after the jump 🤪
They sell these separate front and rear and yeah Pinto is a heavy shedder as you probably noticed by the carpet shot... but so far her hair wipes right off the seats. And yeah the wipe out really got me ... she was laid out for a second and in dog time that's forever but all is good. thanks for watching and checking in on Pinto!
Mount Logan Wilderness is high. Aka Mount Trumbull. From top it is 23 miles to Toroweap. Bar10 Ranch is a lodge. Hinton Brothers. I like Kelly Point run, NPS. Grand Wash area too.
The flap for the side airbag is really nice. So many covers don't have those. And with JK's having TERRIBLE side impact ratings, the side airbag is kind of important.
I purchased them also but they are not perfect. The vinyl was waterproof but where the seat back meets the bottom cover it has cloth that when seat gets wet the water collected in the cloth so when you sit down you get a wet but.
Great video. How hot is the vinyl in the summer sun? Seems like it would get hotter than leather and could burn you. I like the idea for easy clean up though.
Took rear seat out 2dr. Love these seats. Going with steering upgrade. Rest stock. With 2009 JK 109000 going with the run it until death approach. 3 years from now do total rebuild. Deathstar Mambo super dyna whompin eefus cat mode. Hear endless bashing of 3.8 but mine has kicked ass. Love it. Just do FS NPS BLM roads. Nothing crazy. YOU NEED TO DO AZ STRIP MAN. Heck with Moab. Plenty of atrocious stuff out there. Go in over Lime Kiln Pass run Roads up to Black Rock mountain. Come out back to I-15. Then go deep. No phone service. Nobodys coming to help so plan for that. Long Wheelbase and automatic trans ain't good either in 112 degrees.
One side of my drivers seat is a little worn (inner foam is a little tired). Do u think it's worth replacing before putting seat cover on? I was maybe thinking seat cover might tighten things up a little but that might be wishful thinking
Hey Jason. Considering pulling the trigger on some covers. I think it's probably been a year since you got them. Are they holding up ok? I live on Maui, and the sun can be pretty tough here. I'd love to hear how your are doing in the So. Cal sun.
Thank you for the video. I have two golden retrievers that love to go jeeping with me. The problem is, the hair collects on my cloth seats. How do the mesh seats do with dog hair? I'm trying to decide whether to go with all vinyl or with mesh seats. Thanks again.
Metalcloak 3.5 Gamechanger and it's been fantastic. One of the changes I'm making is going with the Lock n Load long arm lift from Metalcloak to try something new!
Jason, looking at same covers hoping you can answer a question. Are any or all of the materials you ordered water resistant? (ie. no top and rainstorm, will the water run off?)
The blue for sure but I’m not sure the black mesh would withstand a lot of rain... they make a black in the same fabric as the blue that would for sure.
Oh man... that gamechanger would've done every bit as good out there! I just was restless and wanting to try something a little different and am happy.
AutoEdits Awesome thank you! Also, I DONT recommend getting suede inserts like I did. They look great, but were a terrible choice for off-roading in hindsight. Keep up the great work sir!
@autoedits Jason my brother, you need to get yourself a "Be Forever Furless" brush from Lilly Brush. It will aid you greatly in removing all of Ms. Pinto's fur from the Jeep and other vehicles.
Just for the record, after seeing your video i emailed.prp and asked for color swatches.i got a conformation email back but no samples.that was like 8 weeks ago.i had a buddy from out of town do the same thing and again no samples .i guess they are not trying to hard to sell there $800 seat covers..pity ,looks.like a great product
It's all marine grade materials so I'm not sure how much water proof or resistant. I've been in the rain with it a few times and they still look great.
It's all those things...lol I even decided to cut a bunch more out like "family jewels" "the boys" "twigs and berries" "franks and beans" ... you know, the greatest hits
Thanks Jason - I wouldn't have come across this company without this video - I love their custom options and will more than likely be placing an order!
Sweetness! Hope the install tips help!
Jason,
keep up the videos!
I only watch your Jeep stuff.
But every video is filled with great content.
I appreciate it.
Thank you soooo much!
Great job! The blue with the black exterior looks killer. Always love to see Pinto in the vids😄
Thanks! Pats for pintothedog
I purchased the same seat covers 2 years ago and they are holding up great! They literally look as good as new still!
Glad to hear this!
did your have holes for the headrest posts?
@@woof3598 I don't believe so. You have to fit them and then cut an "X" in them and slide the plastic grommet in. Looks OE though and was simple.
Jeep makeover? It looks AWESOME now. But can't wait to see what you do to it. You've done well so far.
Well, not cosmetically... I'm really liking how the Jeep is looking lately. Axle and suspension makeover.
The Jeep looks great glad to see it back seat covers are nice
Thanks 👍

Wow, I've never liked the look of seat covers until I saw this video. These are awesome, love the colour choice too 👌
Thanks dude! Figured I might as well send it! 🤣
Another fantastic video! Love every one of them! Your opinion matters and love what you’ve done to your Jeep. Can’t wait for more videos to come

I've been dying for some seat covers, but I couldn't decide. New seats, or a good seat cover.
Thank you for helping with my decision! 👍👍👍
Awesome... glad to hear this!
Always good content and honest reviews Jason. 🤘
Appreciate hearing from you! Thanks!
Those are great looking seat covers ! You made a good choice !
Thanks 👍
Matching blue seat belts??? I think it would look pretty good..
🤔 interesting... like how you think!
Looking forward to updates. Good to see Pinto 😎

Use a wide plastic trim tool to get cloth between upper and lower seat. Anti seize the seat bolts
Not sure about the anti seize but thanks for the tip on the cover.
Nice, love the bold colour...cheers! 🐴🥌

Weirdly enough... little things like that can make a difference!
Just ordered some. For my gladiator 😊. They do look 👍
Right on!
Always enjoy your content Jason! What's your thoughts on letting them chill in the sun first before installing these?
Howdy and thanks! They recommended that but it was a warm day and they came out of the boxes ready to rock for me.
I purchased them also but they are not perfect. The vinyl was waterproof but where the seat back meets the bottom cover it has cloth that when seat gets wet the water collected in the cloth so when you sit down you get a wet but.
Good input to get.
Great video. How hot is the vinyl in the summer sun? Seems like it would get hotter than leather and could burn you. I like the idea for easy clean up though.
Nope it’s normal.
what was the center black fabric called and is it still holding up well?
I don't remember what it is called but they still look brand new all these years later.
Awesome video. After a year, would you still recommend the mess or would you do the vinyl? Thinking wear and tear and functionality. Thanks
Yes... seats are holding up amazingly well. Current video shows exactly how wellruclips.net/video/lZUFDcS33AA/видео.html&lc=UgwvVYqSez5FJ8N7ev54AaABAg

How do you think the covers would work with heated seat? Question from Wisconsin.
Works pretty much the same but I feel where you're coming from...lol
I love my PRP seat covers
I know what you mean!
I was curious if you had ever considered the PRP seats themselves. However since you got the covers I guess not.

Just called edge blue vinyl
Almost time for some aircraft stripper and matching blue paint on the Overlines? 😜🤙🏼

You should put kc lights on the top of the jeep
Those are pretty cool
Would PRP be able to put custom head rest logos?
Sure worth an email or a phone call!
I know I'm late to the party, but did I hear "marriage vegetables"?
Why yes... yes you did. LOL
So does that make my children beef stew?
