Human rights activist Phạm Đoan Trang sent me her guitar video while in hiding from the Vietnamese security forces. About a year after, she was arrested, held incommunicado for another 18 months, before a quick 'trial' in December 2021 convicted her of 'acts against the State' and sentenced her to 9 years in prison.
