Very beautiful! Must be very old and traditional music. I can see the voice would be so hard to mimic. Modern singers are not even close to this level! This is pure music!
NAMDO Birds are flying to here, all kind of birds are flying to here. The phoenix is the best among them, the bird of long life and good harvest. In the deep valley of a high mountain, without any human. All the birds arrive, flying above a spring forest. Enjoying the spring and whispering in couples. Parrots, which are great talkers, cranes, which are great dancers. Cuckoos going ssukkuk, swifts going tturiroo, kites going pewpew... This song, representative of the Cholla province, is not really a minyo: it is closer to a common song (chap-ga). Lyrics vary with the singers. Some start with "birds are flying" while others sing "it is the 3rd of March,a sparrow is flying". Some songs have a prologue others do not. Borrowing the chung chung mori [12/8] rhythm, the song starts with a soft melody and as of the middle, the sound rises. The best-known singers for The t'aryong bird have been Yi Sok-sun during the reign of King Honjong (r.1094-1095), Yi Nal-ch' i at the time of King Ch'oljong (r. 1849-1863), and later Yi Tong-Baek. Following "birds are flying, all kinds are flying", the song describes the characteristics of such birds as the phoenix, the bird that announces a year of abundance, the parrot, the crane, the wild goose and the bluebird as well as human feelings. Music from the world MINYO The "deep song"of Korea

What are the differences between minyo, gugak and pansori singing ? I really find Korean traditional music fascinating and beautiful, I would love to know more about it if someone could help
1. Minyo is korean traditional folk song. 2. Pansori is not just a song but also combined with songs, daramatic narrative and dialoges. It's like One man opera. It spends 2~8 hours to perform whole show. depends on versions. So we usually hear fav songs like aria in opera. This is modern pansori ruclips.net/video/KDj4-u43J7A/видео.html 3. Gugak usually means all kinds of korean traditional music. Royal music, minyo, pansori and instrumental like Gayageum. Gug means nation, ak means music.
