I was just gifted this Loco and tender today and its near new condition but I have a question. As I'm using a standard ZW I was wondering how you were getting the horn and bell to work. My ZW only activates the bell. It did not come with the button activator listed on the box. I thank you in advance. Prove your videos.
So you're engine didn't come with the sound activation button? In that case, I'd just order one on Ebay or get a newer transformer like the CW80 (which is what I was using) to get both the whistle and bell. If you don't want to take this route you'll only be limited to one sound. To change which sound you get, try switching your power wires to opposite ports (red to black and black to red). I know on the CW80 if you do this the whistle button activates the bell and visa versa. If this will screw up your setup, don't do it! I just had a loop of track so nothing could really go wrong. My recommendation is just getting a sound activation button on Ebay. I hope this helps!
Like, is it on when the engine is powered off and running? Is that what you're wondering? If so, then no. The light only comes on when the engine is idling and when it is running. Hope this was helpful.

What diameter curve is your track? I just bought these cars on the bay
I'm currently using o72. These cars were happy on o48 but not o36 so I'd say if you're in a pinch for space o48 is the smallest to go.
@@whistleboardproductions I have O36....I think they're rated for 042 so 036 will be a tight fit.
