71 year old Army here. Just so you know, none of JK's solo releases have anything to do with Kpop other than JK is S. Korean. All of JK's solo releases including his just released album "Golden" are all in English. There are no S. Korean songwriters, producers, recording studios or MV shooting directors or locations, etc. He is blowing past Kpop and jumping head first into the American pop market. He is using American Grammy Award winning songwriters, producers, recording in the U.S. and filming at mostly U.S. locations such as Universal Studios in Hollywood. The original track for this remix, however, is filmed at an abandoned power plant in Budapest, Hungary. The director is a very famous Ukrainian director who has directed for Harry Styles and many others. His self professed dream of being a giant pop star is clearly beginning in a big way! BTW, there are now at least 3 live performances. iHeart Radio, Jimmy Fallon Show, The Today Show, and there is a KILLER Official Choreo Version. He recently performed 5 songs at the TSX stage in Times Square, NYC. Only the third artist to ever been invited to perform there. You should react to the "Usher Remix Performance video of this song that just dropped. It is ICONIC and a dream come true for JK. JK's solo achievements are the biggest of the group. Some who watched the original MV/Song (Standing Next To You), think Jungkook was copying MJ, when in actuality he is paying homage to Michael. People should delve into JK's individual songs to better understand who he is and where he's headed. I hope you will listen to his album, Golden, to discover additional gems. Please share this and other JK MV's and songs with your friends. We're trying to get more black folk to appreciate this young man's talent. He's the real deal. I love this song, and the album is historic.
It’s so awesome to see a legend and a superstar paying homage to MJ. Perfect collaboration. So proud of JK. Also Usher didn’t have to show up and do a dance video with JK either. But because he did that, it just solidifies that iron sharpens iron and talent recognizes talent 💜💜
As others have said, the original is great. I personally like the choreography version the most. Jungkook (and BTS) have choreo versions for many of their videos. If you appreciate thhe dancing, I'd definitely check them out.
