    Excellent video! Very helpful. Per the Leaperkim inspection checklist, the factory uses 85N torque to tighten the pedal hanger bolts. In case anyone is wondering.

    I went from a pilot street tyre to a shinko 241 on my MSX V2. Went from a 18" diameter to a 20". Way more stable which was what I was looking for. Less nimble but also less squirrelly. No longer running nasty slime. Also converted to tubeless. The cursing was flying that day. I believe the lugs on the knobby tire provide more beef to the tire and more puncture protection. It's almost like an alligator's back. Cheers M8!

    Just thank you! I am expacting my Sherman Max next week so this video is on my bookmark as a "how to" when I decide to move on street tyre which I already bought it, it is a Michelin Street Pilot. :)

    Loved the video thanks for taking the time to film during the stressful prosses. Imo these kind of videos are more helpful then reviews. It really helps give other riders like myself the confidence to work on our own wheels. Looks like they did a good job on the max really enjoyed seeing the inside 👍

    10:49 if bolt have lock nut, it realy does not need locktite glue. And why the hell manufacturers do not adding connectors under battery cover for motor cable, to not open controller box... there realy is 100a connectors. AND tire is installed in reverse position!! Because its front moto tire, it is mounted reverse on motorbike, but not on Sherman, we need rear tire direction as its a grip wheel

  • @jarehelt
    @jarehelt 2 года назад

    from what I can tell you put on the rear pilot street 2 tire. Wouldn't you want the front one for an euc?

    • @mcfly_ev
      @mcfly_ev 2 года назад +1

      That’s the front/rear 80/90-14. If you read the side it shows what direction to put it on for front or rear. The way he has it mounted is the front direction. In the Pilot 2 the front tire has a big grove down the middle and it is 70/90-14.

      Not sure, ask that question to an euc forum.

    • @mcfly_ev
      @mcfly_ev 2 года назад

      Not it’s too wide. If you want a bigger tire the biggest you can fit is 80/100-14. That size is available in the original Michelin Pilot Street. It was discontinued and can be tricky to find. Easyparts.nl has them.

      Revzilla, Cycle Gear, easyparts, tripleclamp. You can also get the Michelin City Pro, the Michelin City Extra both in 80/90-14. Also the harder to find and discontinued original Michelin Pilot Street 80/100-14.

    • @kellystone7501
      @kellystone7501 Год назад +1

      Based on? He installed it in the usual direction of a front motorcycle wheel. Better for traction while turning or breaking. Though at EUC speeds, it probably makes little difference.

    • @oldretireddude
      @oldretireddude 10 месяцев назад +1

      @@kellystone7501 I agree that on an EUC it probably makes little if any difference. The chevron pattern normally points forward, when viewed from the top of the tire, to better extract water and debris from the contact patch. Depending on the application, many times this is changed depending on whether it's a "driving" or "driven" wheel application.
