@@ryszakowyLiterally one of the most common rifles in Africa today, since the USSR started arming African guerrillas with them in the late '70s. It'd be strange not to see a few AK74s. You'd see more AKMs, but there'd be AK74s without a doubt.
@@DaGlassMan4797Can't tell from the video, since most variants of the AK47 and AKM are visually identical to an AK74 from the view of the cheek weld, unless you can see the front trunnion is 22mm instead of 23mm with your naked eye. The only difference you'd be able to see with these graphics is the shape of the magazine, since the 5.45x39 round required a less aggressive curve to the magazine than 7.62x39.
I have seen good reviews about Code of Honor, this isn't one of them. The games have problems but they are also quite fun and the missions are creative. Having the protagonist being a Légionnaire was a breath of fresh air. I really enjoyed the African setting with French gear, Allouettes passing by and the VAB mission was great. I always had a childish glee while defending the fort because I had "friends" running around. I still remember the defense where you had BRDM scout cars descending upon your position and it said "Fight, soldier. France is thinking of you!" I also still remember the end when it says you are all dirty and covered in blood, "like Rambo". Conspiracy Island cought my attention because of the story, even though the gameplay was quite bad. I liked mainly the setting and the mission where you backtrack with your two friends, but I kept being killed by the chopper. Conspiracy Island was the first time I ever saw the Bizon and the G11, so I researched to see if they were real weapons, and even to this day I think to myself "Look, the weapon from Code of Honor" whenever I see one of those. The FAL is my favorite rifle but I was angry when it didn't sound "right"; only later did I learn it was using the earlier .280 ammunition. At first, when looking around, I imagined it would be the Venezuelan Liviano that only they used (and only once, during a coup). I remember fearing the snakes, because they were small, so I just sprayed at them The fact 3e REI was chosen was also cool and a departure from the usual. The berets are on the wrong side, though. The game has two endings, when you get to blow up the chopper and when you can't. The Venezuelan terrorists broadcasting "It's the French Foreign Legion! Find them, kill them!" was also very cool. Code of Honor 3: Desperate Measures had the best gameplay and visuals and felt like COD. The hitreg was fixed from Conspiracy Island, where you could hit the terrorists multiple times and they would still kill you. You now have a fixed team with you, which I loved, but we are back at the 2e REP and the berets are wrong again. You also are a new guy and this time he is, in fact, an American that served in Iraq and I remember not liking it because it tried to make him more baddass than being in the Legion. The Easter egg of the bum at the metro being a veteran of Conspiracy Island and mentioning Corporal Claude Boulet was the kind of fan service I like. I remember the interior of the mansion, with the thunder illuminating the pieces of art and paintings; best ambience in the trilogy. The themes were quite good in this game and I felt like it could be remade in something better nowadays, the légionnaires torturing the terrorist to get information was baddass. When we manage to finally catch the bad guys at the docks, and it seens like the story is really getting into gear, it suddenly ends. I was like "WHAT????" The weapons might have the wrong names here and there but they are among the most detailed in a computer game out there.
@filipeamaral216 Yeah, I can't say I'm as good a reviewer as guys like Civvie or GmanLives lol Still, I'm glad you got lots of enjoyment from these games
@@DaGlassMan4797 Well, improvement is always a continuous process. You are already making the videos so that's a lot. I suppose you can tone down a little on being so negative - that's what I felt the most - and focus more on the jokes and the gameplay. The transitions are good and you quips - when they are more neutral - were funny. I did chuckle with the Bruno quip. More gameplay discussion would also be cool (you didn't show the vehicle turret mission!). Just keep going and don't give up.
Those voice lines made me LOL. Without having to actually play those games, I'm going to say you're wrong and rank the first game as the single greatest game ever made. Someone wrote that concentrate line, pitched it in a meeting, got their voice actor to say it, and then they put it in the game. There were a lot of chances for someone to say "This sounds really stupid, maybe we should leave it out?", but they pressed on. And I thank them for that.
ah yes the "city interactive made another fucking trash but you are broke as hell so it's the only thing you can play" only then they made painfully average sniper ghost warrior and decided to drop 2 sequels and change their name to CI games even their wiki page was changed to separate city interactive shlock from CI Games masterful "we like bullet cam" franchise
AK-74 is a legit weapon used by the Eastern Block after 1974
Oh I know it's legit, I was just pointing out that the weapon in-game looks closer to the 47 than it does the 74.
so it would be strange for unnamed african rebels to have it then

Yeah, their budget titles weren't exactly the best, but I have a weird soft spot for them lol
can you try armed forces corp.?
Maybe.
