As soon as Zen sees the pre-jump he tries to move the ball off his car to go under or a low 50/50, but of course, Rw9 is already anticipating that flying back to ground. Masterful defending

A lot depends on your day , Daniel vs Zen first match was decided by 1 goal only , 1 month later Zen wins 4:1 and their skill level can't change that much in just a month that is why bringing Daniel up is not really fair here , you can play very good one day and very bad the other , but the 2 Rw9 vs Zen match were more alike , he made Zen quit in their first match while very convincingly beat him 4:2 in their second match , he had 80 ping vs 20 in both match on top of that , Zen also barely won against Toxic , Vatira and Joreuz too by 4:3 so it is not like Zen is destroying everybody but suddenly lose to Rw9 , half of his winstreak matches ended by 1 game wins which is impressive but you know it could have gone either way, imo Zen is overall a little better than everybody right now and then comes Rw9 who is decently better than Zen aka much better than everybody else (except Mawkzy who is his nemesis, but they are still equal all time unlike Zen vs Rw9 where Rw9 dominates their head to head)
@@stimy7193 The fact that Zen is a 1s main for months now while Rw9 has been grinding with his team for months aka barely playing 1s and still schooling Zen just shows how good he is , if Rw9 would actually decide to focus on 1s he would be even further from everybody and on top of that he usually plays with 80-90 ping against people with 20 ping, despite these 2 big disadvantage he still the best in the world both in 1s and I would say he is definetly top 3 in 2s and 3s

Both players are insane, way ahead of the competition in their own ways. Zen's speed and ability to hit shots that nobody else can hit are in a league like we've never seen, it's also worth mentioning that Zen's overall strategic mind is pretty good - it's not like he's just relying on mechanics to destroy opponents, he can play smart as well and his mindgames are all the more dangerous because of how insane his mechanics are, which is part of what makes him so unbelievably dominant. Rw9 is just different. His consistency in his 50s, positioning, boost management, and ofc goal line saves is just unbelievable. And like how Zen is more than just a flashy player, Rw9 is more than just a crazy defender - he has the mechanics to perform the flashy outplays when he needs to as well. Both of them are monsters, of a different kind, but equally scary. I feel like Rw9 might have the edge in 1v1s simply because his more solid playstyle favours punishing mistakes, which in 1s can lead to very easy goals. Rw9 turns Zen's natural all-in playstyle into a weakness, because if it doesn't work then the counters are basically unstoppable, which forces Zen to play much more conservatively than he usually does. Still, games 4 and 5 (and 6 tbf, though Rw9 was too strong) demonstrate that Zen has the capacity to play at the level required to meet Rw9 solo on the pitch. Great players and another great series by them, I look forward to a long and healthy rivalry between them!

Ppl said zen was unlucky and wasn't being himself the first time but the second time you see rw9 isn't allowing him to play like he usually does. Rw9 is undisputed number 1
12:23 the last touch was weighted properly to ensure recovery and possession. Rw9's challenge covers the entire net and ignoring this fact and continuing a normal airdribble would be neutral at best and potentially losing... And Zen converts this advantage successfully. 18:02 Zen has this weird tendency to try to boom the ball forward into Rw9's possession. He's done it at at least 3 times so far and conceded after every one. Instead of throwing the ball away in a manner that is admittedly very mechanical, he should opt to send it softly to his corner, away from the opponent if he can't control it. In all these situations he has low boost but definitely a workable amount if he just maintains possession. If one is to dribble/guide the ball along the sidewall 50/50s become 25/25/50s where the wall is completely solid and a great defensive asset. Maybe Zen has kept his 2s/3s mindset and expects a teammate to connect and counterattack these clears that not only give the ball away but seem to completely compromise his position. Maybe Zen dislikes defense and doesn't feel comfortable on the backfoot. Personally as someone with basic mechanics I enjoy frustrating attackers, all though Rw9's style is very effective and minimalist, I suppose I'd crumble psychologically if I faced him. Zen also tends to bluff on defense in plays where it doesn't hurt Rw9 to test the simple option Zen presents. Sometimes when I'm tilted I will consciously leave an opening and just hope it's too obvious for the opponent to consider. This almost always backfires as the attacker need only proceed honestly to easily score. 36:30 45:38 here's Zen doing exactly what I prescribed earlier. Soft touch into corner so Rw9 doesn't have much of an angle. Alas it's too little, too late. Definite improvement though.
Ones is literally a different game. The more defensive you are, the more likely you'll win. High mechinical plays often yield bad results because the defender will literally wait until the last second to challenge and then you'll get countered. The best defensive ground player will most likely win.
First has been playing 1s and honestly, I don't think he would fair very well against Zen right now. I would say Daniel is better than First right now, and he's lost to Zen twice.
@@michael04__806 that's not how what works? Daniel >First, Zen > Daniel, therefore Zen > First? What reason is there to believe otherwise?
Hey Johnny, one of the critiques I have of your channel (and all esport channels), is that the time of the video literally spoils who is going to win. At minute 41 I already knew who was going to win, it sucks all the suspense and excitement out of watching it. Is there anyway you can normalize your video lengths to all be 60 - 80 minutes so no matter what I can't deduce who wins purely based of the time? Thanks.
Defense and positioning looks similar to Flakes. Attacking seems a lot different. Flake's attacking seemed oddly creative, damgerous and effective in the recent Feer Festival. Rw9's attack seems more straightforward.
@@7dayspking true yeah, but i feel like rw9 is playing a defensive playstyle, where he can rely on his ability to save shots from the best players in the world, using flakes strategy in a lot of situations
@@lorenzexi5395 I agree. I think Rw9 plays safer than Flakes does and positions a little better. Rw9 has mechanics at a similar level to the other elite 1v1ers as well. Flake's attack though was surprisingly strong. I'd like to see Flakes hit the ball more accurately and with better power. And for Flakes to improve his recoveries and be a little safer like Rw9 is. Flakes sometimes takes unnecessary challenges, challenges the ball from the wrong side, centers for his opponent or commit to challenges with a flip right in front of the opponent's goal and then leaves the whole field open. Rw9 seems more consistently cautious and in defensive position even when attacking.

With RW9 winning 3 games in 24 minutes, that means there were only going to be 3 games left with the remaining 25 minutes. Low and behold, 6 games total.
@@davidkosiba624 Yeah, A lot of that makes sense. This was probably the most anticipated rematch of 2023 ❤.
Rw9 humbled zen once again, love to see it
Both players are insane, way ahead of the competition in their own ways.

Ppl said zen was unlucky and wasn't being himself the first time but the second time you see rw9 isn't allowing him to play like he usually does. Rw9 is undisputed number 1
21:17 "RW9 has landed pretty pearly here" :)
Tbh even when khalid was winning against anyone he was sayin the best 1v1 player was rw9
Rw9 is just That Guy for zen
this matchup is such an Anakin vs Obi-Wan kind of matchup.
45:38 here's Zen doing exactly what I prescribed earlier. Soft touch into corner so Rw9 doesn't have much of an angle. Alas it's too little, too late. Definite improvement though.
What was scrub killas win streak back in the day?

Zen just looks too uncomfortable against rw9
Rw9 is the goat because he has a twin he's trained against since he was in diapers. 1v1 is him
RW9 with the omnipresence defense. He is everywhere. Once again forced Zen to doubt in his own ability
Ones is literally a different game. The more defensive you are, the more likely you'll win.
High mechinical plays often yield bad results because the defender will literally wait until the last second to challenge and then you'll get countered.
The best defensive ground player will most likely win.
RW9's defense in game 2 was ridiculous, Zen had so many shots that would've been in on ANYONE else but RW9 makes an impossible read.

Thanks.
Sadly if he does it like that it wont appear in the algorithm he mentioned it a few months back
The twitch chat 💀
Damn, I was really hoping the video length wouldn’t spoil the result for this one
i honestly think that zens cockiness and confidence is his biggest strength and weakness
rw9 reminds me a bit of flakes.. he has the mechanics to pull off everything but he is very smart in doing only stuff that’s safe and most effective

What I am trying to say is that you could loop the first game to make the series unpredictable no matter the length of the video, like in the past.
1s channels have stopped doing this because RUclips punishes them for viewers only watching half a video. It was nice while it lasted and made watching a video easier not worrying about accidentally viewing the remaining time :/
