  • A story ballad song about the last WW-2 fire tanker plane used in service. Tanker 123, went down in the summer of 2002, while fighting the Big Elk Fire in Colorado. The PB4-Y was the last of the WW-2 fire bombers to be used fighting fire. The song was written by Patrick Michael Karnahan and performed by his Black Irish Band. The songwriter remembers seeing #123 on many forest fires he was fighting on the ground. From the CD- "Into The Fire" (2007) This song and album can be bought at www.cdbaby.com/cd/blackirishband7
