to think that crashes ended Cole's career. He could've kept racing but this injury was that intense he just gave up.
His injury's are a fractured Pelvis and tailbone,
2nd in points is a bad spot for the last 3 guys.
the pressure of 2nd in points got another rider was a bummer to see was right next to the mechanic area

Something is wrong with that Honda 450 - obviously it bites you when you don´t expect it...
Rammstone77 the 2017 and 2018 CRF450 have different frame geometry was spose to fix that problem🤷
They have NOT. Only Electric start was added for production bike in 2018.

Don't know if his leg is broken but he wasn't making any effort to get off the track which is a bad sign.

Was there live and on the other side of the track and couldn’t see it😅 but still really looked liked it hurt. They red flagged it and went to staggered start and Tomac won main event. Hope he heals soon

How many top racers have these tracks maimed so far this year, 4 or 5? I predicted 3 more last week by the end of the season, but it is almost a weekly thing. We got people who grew up on Motocross madness 2 (vid game), building these tracks, as the tracks are pretty much the same as I could build on the games "track builder",--the difference is,---people really get hurt in real life. The tracks are too fast, and too boring. "Boom Boom Boom, another one bites the dust. And another one down, another one down, another one bites the dust. Hey, it's gonna get you too, another one bites the dust, Heeey!"
EarthSurferUSA not the track builders faults for the RIDERS making simple mistakes that have lead to each and every injury this year Tampa was an amazing track and super simple the only actual challenge was the sand section
I actually raced for over a decade. Never pro, but I have a taste of what the sport is about. You say, "Its not the tracks, its the riders going beyond what is capable of being done consistently. We all know how important consistent riding is. Pretty hard to do going balls to the wall all the time."
You are right about the second part, and that means the tracks are too fast. Make a mistake on a 55mph rhythm section, and get hurt 50% of the time? The racers seem to be used to it though. They don't even like a tiny little sand section. They seem to only like successive jumps that can be hit about as fast as the 60hp bike can go, (with no ruts of course), and big bermed turns. IMO, the racers are just as guilty for the "cookie cutter" tracks not separating the talent. Do you know what separates the talent today? Crashes!
Sore Loser Liberal: If you are calling me a liberal, that is way left field stuff. Liberals do not look at the results of racers dropping like flies, and objectively reason on why it is happening. Liberals would say, "That is our new normal". What is the matter, a 4-stroke can't do a slower, tricky section that can separate the talent? Right now, it is injuries that separate the talent, not the track.

Doug Harris K dub and reedy battling in LCQ would be the most entertaining part of the rest of the season.
Every rider who has been in second in the points has crashed out with injury. Roczen, then Bracia, and now Seely. Mousquin is second now. He better watch out lol
What I don't understand is how they are saying it's a tailbone and pelvis and it seriously looked like his femur was Jell-O! I have a hard time believing it's not his femur.
The impact was right on his femur head (which is dense and strong) - which smashed it into his hip joint (pevlis). This likely also compressed into his sacrum and why it also got fractured. Did you notice the way he was grabbing for his crotch (pubic bone)? It's not his femur.

Pretty much. The pipe's silencer may be the hit the first grab,---but the second grab was the jewels. The legs are pretty straight, for a break IMO.

Neither roczen or seelys crashes had anything to do with the frame. Roczen crashed himself and seely came up short.
Pelvis and tailbone smashed. Will need surgery. There is something wrong with the new Hondas. They seem to want to eject riders over the bars. Not sure if they're not balanced right or what. KR94 in 2017 and again in 2018 and now CS14. Worrying for me as I have a 2017, if those guys are getting launched I'll be plane wreckage! 🤕
