My parents are in the Philippines visiting my grandmother while I'm stuck here in the U.S. watching over the house and my dog. I am thankful that they were able to flee from Manila early that day to travel to their next destination in Boracay before the explosion happened so they are now at a much safer distance! I don't know what you all are saying. We aren't even worrying more about drugs and FYI that place is practically a ghost town rn because almost all have been evacuated already. Also Philippines is known as ring of fire which means the country is surrounded by active volcanoes. We are also have a rule of not living in this radius, the reason why they were evacuated is because of ashfall and safety precautions if ever it erupted again and turned to level 5.

its due to the ash containing high amounts of silica which when rubbed can cause static to build up, in this case with the amount of fine ash it creates lightning.
and you know thatwater vapor or ice particles cause lighthning well silica ash is way better at making lightning.

most ghosts and stuff are just visual hallucinations caused by things from lack of sleep to carbon monoxide exposure to mental afflictions.
