Transport:
There is no public transport available for Mt. Anying (暗影山), so you will need either a scooter or car to get to the trailhead.
Mt. Touke is easy to get to via the Dakeng trails east of Taichung City. There are 5 trails to choose from and all of them lead up to the peak.
Just check whether the trails are open before leaving as some of them were damaged recently and are being repaired.
Mt Anvil (鐵砧山) is located in Dajia (大甲) and very accessible. You can easily ride a bike up there or the 813 Shuttle Bus will take you there from Houli (后里).
