There's a lot of great version of, Doctor Octopus. But the 2004 film version is still the Best of them all. My 2nd favorite version is the 90's cartoon version of Doc Oc.
To be honest the strongest will always be the earth 616 docotr octopus cause, he earned the title of the superior spider man with him being forced to become doc ock rather than by choice
Alfred Molina's Doc Ock is the strongest. He is better then the 616. The 616 was dying and swapped his mind with Peter taking the role of Superior Spider-Man. Molina's Doc Ock would've done the same if he was also dying like that but I doubt, he'll accept his death.
I always like it when comic book adaptations are done as realistically as possible, so that they come off as plausible, even if they're not, in order to aid in the ability to lose oneself in fantasy, and aid in the wonderful wish fulfilment escape of playing superhero. With Doctor Octopus, his arms sometimes appear short in length, and sometimes, they appear very long. The lengths don't make sense regarding... err... logic, I guess you could say. Sorry, getting too lost in technicalities here! Anyway, I think it would be a great idea if the arms have multiple sections which extend out of and into each other when desired. This design feels plausible regarding use, both as a scientist (regarding Doc Ock's origin) and a supervillain, and makes the lengths plausible too.
@@majabbar4796 1. Both, the original comment, and my response to it were posted before the movie's release. 2. The comment was general, regarding Doc' Ock as a character, as his originating from the Sam Raimi trilogy hadn't been officially confirmed yet. Not his skillset. Which, speaking of, only appeared to be stronger because his tentacles weren't restricted to practical effects. Even after Tom Holland's Spider-Man allowed his suits nanotechnology to attach itself to Doc' Ock, his tentacles were no longer in control of their own faculties. Their ensuing appearance was no more than a cosmetic "upgrade", that actually hindered their usage, rather than an enhancement of strength.
Probably, Doctor Octavius as Superior Spider-Man. If we're going by Classic appearance, then any incarnation similar to his Ultimate comic's appearance. Which is essentially, any of them, really. Excluding of course, both, any female and/ or organic counterpart. For example, Raimi's live-action adaption, Insomniacs incarnation, even his standard appearance are all fairly similar in regards to both, strength, and design.
Do best versions of Electro, Green Goblin, Sandman and Lizard next! Edit: Damn, you forgot about the Ultimate Spider-man tv show Doc Ock, and The Spectacular Spider-man animated series Doc Ock
6:02 I wanna see more of *Victor Octavius / Mutant Doctor octopus* Arms instead of metal mechanical there be came out organically fleshy this version I really like but it still prefer Alfred Molina’s ocks incarnation
Which one of these versions of Doc Ock do you think should be the Doc Ock from the MCU timeline in Tom Holland's Spider-Man universe? Which actor do you think should play this version of him?
I personally, don't believe they're going to introduce their own incarnations of his character. However, if Tom Holland's Spider-Man leaves the MCU at the end of his upcoming movie, I'm certain they'll introduce some alternate version of Doctor Octavius in whatever universe he ends up in. That being said, until that happens, IF that happens, I'll need to know a little bit more about said "new Universe" first. before being able to make any kind of meaningful assessment on the matter. Good question, though.
I’ve been asking the same question myself. People have said Rainn Wilson and Mark Hamill would be good choices for an MCU Ock. On the other hand, having Peter meet Otto Octavius AGAIN and fight him AGAIN might make it a bit redundant, at least that’s the WORST case scenario.
Can you do a video about this 6th member of the Multiverse Sinister Six in Spider-Man No Way Home should be from Tom Holland's Spider-Man Universe being either Shocker, Scorpion or whatever Spider-Man villain from the comics who is yet to make their live action debut?
You should watch the ultimate spider-man, they literally made a series about spiderman and include all about doc ock such as he once became spider man and really he wanted to help people, he create the sinister six, and many more. Also, WHY DIDNT THEY MAKE DOC OCK WITH VANOM? THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN TOO COOL.
The version of doc ock there is really scary and badass at the same time. More over when he turned into spider-man. He became more dangerous, violent and serious but Sadly no one like him.
You mean Venom? Well, they did, in a sense. Anti-Venom merged with Doc' Ock as the final boss of the video game "Spider-Man: Edge of Time". He even merged with Carnage as the final boss of an even older video game simply called "Spider-Man" for the original PlayStation back in 2000.
Imagine what if raimi's doc ock switched brains with Tobey's Peter and became the Superior Spider man, I bet Disney won't allow, as it will result to R-Rated
in spider man no way home i do not want to lose venom or spider man because in venom let thare be carnage post credit scenes we see that eddi and venom are in mcu and dr strange say all will die fighting spider man and who knows may be venom is a bad guy in spider man no way home can you ple make a
I hate the into the spiderverse doc ock (olivia) because her arms are reasonless, she just has them and didn’t ear them, doc ock from tobey universe needed the arms for fusion reaction so they had a reason to be implanted
Actually it's the other way around. There is a comic based on the game. I opted to use stills from said comic for this video, mainly because I didn't have time to capture gameplay footage for myself. As much as I would have loved any excuse to play through that game again :p
Both are lame villains. A toddler with a 9mm could take out Doc Oc. Even the comics reveal that spiderman had always been toying with him. Which was revealed when doc OC, using Spiderman's arm, punched clean through a human torso. Basically. Spiderman could have ripped him limb from limb. He could have Spartan kicked him through a wall. But he didn't. Because he didn't want to kill or cripple him. So he would allow himself to be injured. But was always strong enough to have killed him with an angry back hand.
Which version of Doc Ock do you like the most?
Dr ock the great from spider man
The OG doc oc
The iconic tobey doc
Superior Spiderman
olivia octavius or the no way home one
Doc Ock was the MVP of NWH, and his conversation with Tobey's spidey just tugs your heartstrings with nostalgia.
"The power of the sun in the palm of my hand" -Doc Ock

Alfred Molina’s Doc Ock has to be the best rendition of Doc Ock, and if it isn’t there better be a good reason for it!

6:21 SAME! I don't have a PlayStation, but if I did get one, I'd probably only get it for the Spider-Man games!😆

well in Spider-Man 2, they were apparently made of nanotech to some degree... so...
"Spider man, Spider man, does whatever a spider can! Saves the multiverse, fights green Goblin!!! Oh yeah, can't wait for spider man.
Imagine we get a "Hail Hydra" from Doc ock at the end of spider-man
🤯
Ed, that'd be kinda lame, at least to me. Doc Ock is way too cool on his own to just be a Hydra pawn.
@@seanbillington3287 He can be like the super soldiers who had a lot kills that would make him cool

There is a difference between "Greatest" doc Ock and "most powerful" doc Ock, you know
What do you think Alfred Miolina's Doc Ock is going to be like when he makes a comeback in Spider-Man No Way Home?
More or less the same as he was by the middle/ end of his last appearance in Raimi's Spider-Man 2.
@@HonestJohn_01.19 He is way more powerful in no way home with the red tentacles.
