It’s such a bittersweet joy watching these Ripert episodes. Anthony clearly loved Eric’s company and I wonder how he was feeling at the time.. he jokes so much about death and perhaps that was something he was struggling with. He had a darkness to his thoughts and it was always funny to hear but maybe he needed to really get some help, take some time off and work on being happy. I don’t presume to know anything but I wish he was still here and I love the tv he made. It’s so beautiful.
words dont do justice but ill try. simply some of the best TV ever made. hands down. no discussion. full stop. thank you so much for sharing these. They bring a great amount of entertainment to a very drab life
Anthony ....a big big loss to many of us. This guy was unique, down to earth, and to me ....most of all, an inspiration. Read the books, watched the shows....and miss him.
Don't see dates anywhere on this, but judging by Anthonys demeanour, I bet anything this taping took place within weeks, maybe months, of his suicide... Acting weird, and childish
This is correct. Eric Ripert is the man who found him when they were filming for Parts Unknown in Strasbourg, which will have been very shortly after this
I thought he was behaving strangely in this episode he was making jokes but there was a sharp, not nice, edge to them even his friend seemed a bit confused sometimes.

Whem I'm feeling down I always come back to this episode. I always feel better at the end.

Hope the last year has brought you some less drab times my friend 💪🏻
as it happens this last year has been the best in a long while.. Thanks for asking. are we friends somewhere else?@@jonnowocky8179
Eric Ripert is such a lovely, nice and polite Person. I am also glad that he never talked about how he finds his friend.
5:00 "Well worth the expense to..... someone else" - perfectly simple words that say so much and gave you so much style Tony - we miss you
Another great one. Boys will be boys. The two gel so well and great to see them being themselves.

Eric Ripert was Tonys very dear friend. And for that and many other wonderful qualities I respect and admire him.
Love Eric Ripert. Such a gentle soul.
Anthony Bourdain I miss that guy!!!
He was an amazing storyteller 🙂. RIP ❤️🇩🇰
Great work uploading this *All Documentary*
Thank u!!
I love this comedy inbetween the serious segments! “Dinner is served”!
What wine did they go with in the end at 4:50 ? Looks like Joseph Drouhin Côte de Nuits-Villages ? Not quite the Chateau Latour 1966 but still :p
Tony was very fun!
Favorite episode.😛
Mad ending, love it
Amazing
Saudade eterna meu querido chef Aline Brasil 🇧🇷🇧🇷descanse em paz ti adimirava muito obrigado pelo exemplo de tudo 🙏👏🇧🇷 Bahia
😂😂😂 that ending is epic
21:12 The statue on the right shares a shocking similarity with Bourdain himself
It HAS to be photoshopped in there. It's too close not to be
Yes! I just noticed that. It's definitely him photoshopped onto the statue... Brilliant!
Miss u Tony.
Love this man more and more
he is dead.Suicide in France. RIP
I know
@@jimkessler2001 when you are married at such demonic woman called Asia Argento, you cannot be happy
@@jimkessler2001 obviously 🙄
Fabulous video, RiP Tony
Just so cool...
jajajjajajaj What an espectacular episode! jajajaj
Look at that steak! Only the French can prepare such a masterpiece! Vive Steak Saignant!!!
22:50 " To Satan. May he reign forevermore"
You noticed too
What was that about
was this the last episode he record?
However, he also got his face in a statue..haha..incredible man!!
"32 Yolks to Slaughter" >D
When the tourist season is not ON (October - April) there will be none of all this. Trust me.
Tradition is not necessarily what you do everyday, its the old and unique ways
you mean- no summer season in the French Alps ?? Ah, ah, ah. La bonne déconne que tu nous offres.
RIP 8:00
As much as I love Anthony you can tell that he was high on drugs in many of these scenes. So sad. And, ultimately, his downfall.
I will never get it but I wish we were buddy’s
... buddies*
Optical wild
Dont do that while im milking u man had eric in stitches hahahahaha
You cansee from watching this, he was miserable, we didn't see the signs quick enough 😮
Only because he is miserable doesn't mean he is suicidal. There are many miserable people who are still alive.
So much fat and cholesterol with so many funny lines in this episode. "To Satan"
nothing like talking about cow farts over dinner
Look how happy he is around his male friends! He should not of got involved with the females!
Cars
Boats
Women
Hire them by the hour!
has meeting with a strange person...
why that awful song at the start?
Don't see dates anywhere on this, but judging by Anthonys demeanour, I bet anything this taping took place within weeks, maybe months, of his suicide...
Acting weird, and childish
He acts as he always did in his episodes.

First aired October ‘17. Guessing filming was the previous winter. Chef took his life on 8 June 2018.
I thought he was behaving strangely in this episode he was making jokes but there was a sharp, not nice, edge to them even his friend seemed a bit confused sometimes.
He definitely looks older then 52.
Price the French pay for their incredible looks in youth - they fall off a cliff after 47 or so.
... older than* ...
Since "Alps" is a plural, shouldn't it be "the French Alps and their* cheeses"?! Get the title right!
very weak episode
Imagine being those French, having an afternoon cheese and wine and singing your happiness 😅 and they want us to stay in Africa 😂
That was fun.Sorry for these two for different reasons.
bourdain seemed bored here lol
