Thank you for this video and all of your great advice! I recently had an internal interview at my company for a different supervisory position. I did not get the job offer but I did get feedback that the interview panel was very impressed with my answers and how I conducted myself and that I was very prepared for the interview! A person with much more years with the company was offered the position but I was told I have all the qualities they wanted but they preferred someone with more years under their belt!

I’m back to say - I did NOT get the job. It’s ok. There were red flags 🚩 prior to all preparations I did. 1 - hiring person text me about the interview at 11:32 pm asking me what days and times were good. I replied back. She didn’t respond until AFTER the day had come and gone. 2- She offered me more times and when I gave mine - sorry that time is booked, what other times do you have ( she only left me with one day. When it started out with 4 ) 3 - I was the last day of the week and my interview was scheduled at 3pm. They only interview between 2-4. For 32 minutes I sat there waiting for her. She finally came and rushed me through the process and during the interview said - we’ve filled the position you applied for. But next week we would like to bring you on for a four hour working interview with management for a different position? What days do you have available? I told her I would make it work at their convenience. She said “ I am walking into a meeting now and I will get the days and times and get back to you. 4- sent my thank you letter. Did a follow up because the week had passed and no response as to what day…. 5 - over a week later got the email - we are not moving forward with your application. Such a time waster. The organization? The Dallas Cowboys.

I applied for an administrative assistant position with a school and received an email from the Principal asking if I’d viewed the position’s salary requirements. I haven’t interviewed for the position yet. I’m not sure how to handle this. I’m assuming I should give a requirement that’s between the salary’s range.

Is it possible to use that you left your last job due to the environment. When I say the environment , let’s say you are working in an area where it is cold and even colder in the winter in an office and was told the office area was not cold during the hiring process and told other things too but you ended up finding out this is not true. Temperature in the office is effecting u and you left because of those reason that maybe you wanted to refrain from getting sick. Is that a valid thing to say during an interview or would they not wanna hear that?
Ive seen too many unfilled job positions and now I see why....many of us don't talk a big game ...we describe what needs to be said front and center...and we work not talk...I am now no longer able to work because I don't talk like Frasier...😂😂😂😂....oh well it is what it is😂😂😂

Hi Richard. What can I do If may desired company is far far different from my previous work. My previous was Semiconductor/ Electronics Company. And I'd like to be a Call Center agent. I had many interviews done but unfortunately I always failed. I have difficulties in speaking english and no confident at all. It was shaking situation. The panel sent me a research paper containing 16 pages explaining methods and 20 tables and 20 figures and want me to prepare a 5-min presentation focusing on the findings of the paper. I'm in the process of looking for a new job and waiting for an interview. I've made mistakes during interviews before. Because even though I clearly understand the interview question and had all the good answers in my head, English, which I'm not good at, made me excited, And I couldn't think of the words until the actual time, my head was completely blank. All I can do now is accept it. and intend to practice to be better than before I'll practice, practice, practice and practice. So that I don't make another mistake in the next interview.

Is it possible to use that you left your last job due to the environment. When I say the environment , let’s say you are working in an area where it is cold and even colder in the winter in an office and was told the office area was not cold during the hiring process and told other things too but you ended up finding out this is not true. Temperature in the office is effecting u and you left because of those reason that maybe you wanted to refrain from getting sick. Is that a valid thing to say during an interview or would they not wanna hear that?

This sounds like an informal interview. Hi Richard. What can I do If may desired company is far far different from my previous work. My previous was Semiconductor/ Electronics Company. And I'd like to be a Call Center agent. I had many interviews done but unfortunately I always failed. I have difficulties in speaking english and no confident at all. It was shaking situation. I'm in the process of looking for a new job and waiting for an interview. I've made mistakes during interviews before. Because even though I clearly understand the interview question and had all the good answers in my head, English, which I'm not good at, made me excited, And I couldn't think of the words until the actual time, my head was completely blank. All I can do now is accept it. and intend to practice to be better than before I'll practice, practice, practice and practice. So that I don't make another mistake in the next interview.
