MQ-9 Reaper Drone and Practice Range Nevada
When driving through the Nevada highland deserts, you encounter mountain range, after mountain range, but also some practice ranges! This range and airfield had a lot of activity and we even spotted a drone. I assume this is a MQ9-Reaper (Predator B) but I could of course be very wrong. Not my expertise.

This Unmanned aerial vehicle is made by General Atomics and can be remotely controlled (piloted) from a US Air Force base, often thousands of kilometres away from its sortie. Not only can this aircraft do high-altitude surveillance, but is is also an offensive weapon.

We also see a ton of drone tanks. Perhaps? Or maybe they are just practice targets in the range.

Hi David, very familiar scenery, haha! It's a shame it was so smoky while you were here. It has cleared up now. That was the worst I have ever seen the smoke from the California fires get here.
I think those billboard looking things are radio signal reflectors, but I have a friend who works there, I'll ask him. God bless! 🙏

Hi Dick , yes, one day there was so much smoke covering Las Vegas, it looked like fog!
